“The unit was delivered as “white glove” thus partially assembled (attached legs) by the delivery crew. The crew were focused on how short a time they spent completing the delivery father than care for the piece of furniture and once in place they had me sign for delivery and departed as quickly as possible, thus I had no time to inspect it. While bringing it though the door (I had already propped open doorstop) the lead member hit the doorknob with the unit and later I found a chunk of the wood on the floor (can provide photo if necessary). I believe it came from the underside of the unit but cannot confirm since I cannot lift it (thus the reason for delivery) so not making any claim for that. However the unit wobbled severely once the legs were installed and all I could do to remedy the problem was shim two of the four legs. Finally I did notice a one and a half inch scratch in the front of the unit (likely from the box cutter they used when removing the shipping box) but again I was able to remedy that with a black marker since the unit has an ebony finish.
Bottom line is the unit was as advertised, but delivery and installation were substandard.”
