Get rid of particle board and laminate parts in furniture.

“Liked the look of it - easy to put together (only 8 bolts). Did not like that the front edge of the top was slightly damaged (particle board with laminate). I don't understand why anyone would use particle board with laminate on some parts and solid wood on other parts. If you're going to use wood, use wood for the whole thing!”

“Very sturdy TV stand, color is darker than described, but looks good with my furniture. The shelves behind the glass doors don’t fit correctly, they aren’t level and don’t rest on the pegs that are supposed to hold them. Other than the shelves I love the stand looks good and is sturdy.”

“I have been looking for a cabinet for a while that would hold all my vintage stereo equipment. This was deep enough and a good choice. I did have a problem and that's why I am writing this review. When my unit arrived, it was damaged in the 3 long pieces. I honestly think it was packed that way from the manufacturer because the box did not show obvious damage to the extent the pieces were damaged. As you can imagine, I had a bad gut feeling that this was going to be a nightmare. I got onto the online chat with Ashley support. To my surprise it went easy, before long the representative sent me a page with the parts pictured so they could reorder the correct parts. In less than a week I had the new parts and was able to put my unit together. So, in my opinion and experience do not worry about Ashley helping you out if you have a problem, just have a little patience. After a couple of days, I got a shipping tracking number for the replacement parts.”

Easy assembly and good quality

“The assembly was really easy as most of it was hooking the parts together like legos. There are only few screws you need to screw in. However the stand is sturdy.
The color is brown and goes well with our furniture. The stand has a lot of storage space and wire management holes. It is perfect for the 65” tv that we have.”

The Perfect Stand for a Big TV.

“I wanted a stand for our new TV but most on the market are not tall enough IMO. I want the TV picture to be eye level or higher. This stand was perfect - not too rustic but instead contemporary enough to match our modern furnishings. As you can see it holds a 75-inch flat screen just right, and there are cutouts to run equipment cables through and help conceal them. The only problems I had putting it together were: One of the dowel pins on a small interior panel had split the wood and its hole had enlarged a bit, so I used some wood glue, put the pin back in place, and clamped it overnight to dry. Also the left hand door needed a hinge and latch adjustment (required drilling a small hole) to make it perfect but I could have just let it be. Take note that it's a heavy piece of furniture - I had to open the box in the garage and move the pieces one by one into the house. In summation it's a fine, rugged, nice looking piece, it makes a great TV stand, and it's well worth the money. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.”

Assembly: One of the easiest times I've ever had putting furniture together. Pictorial instructions were clear and detailed and all parts fit just as they should have with no finagling or extra effort.

The one I got had the holes for the dowels drilled about an inch too far back on the bottom piece so I had to measure twice and re drill new holes to complete the assembly. Otherwise took my about 2.5 hours to assemble on my own. If it weren't for that manufacturing blunder I'd have given it 5 stars. Love that there is a space for my soundbar so it's not blocking the tv anymore!”

“I bought this from Ashley furniture store and it was delivered fully assembled today. It looks very nice and seems very sturdy but the finish is poor quality. Just putting my stereo components in made some of the finish come off of the shelf edges. I was able to touch it up with a furniture marker but i was disappointed that it was that touchy. I'm glad i purchased the extended warranty but you can only use the warranty 2 times over the 5 year period.”

“Purchased online. Was surprised the unit was shipped very quickly. The package was very heavy but we had help bringing it in. Upon putting it together we noticed two flawed areas.
We called customer service and they reduced the price so that made up for the defective areas. Otherwise the unit is perfect for our needs. TV 60 in curved Samsung looks great. It is nice to have all our equipment visible so we can easily change channels or quickly go from TV to paid programming like Netflix. Also, down below is plenty of room for storage of CD etc. Considering other units that I looked at, Ashley had the best bang for the dollar. The customer service is exceptional which is very rare.”

Great Color, Large Broken Pieces and Cracks

“I purchased this item in November 2016 and was hesitant to do so because of other reviews that mentioned cracks in the tv stand. I chose to order it because the design and color were exactly what I wanted. When I opened the box, I immediately noticed that 2 large pieces of wood (each about 4 inches long) from the frame had broken off and there was a large crack in one of the shelves. There were also several other cracks in various spots. If you know someone who is handy you might possibly be able to fix the broken pieces and cracks which we did.”

“It's wood veneer over particle board. When the stand is put together it looks and feels quality, solid and sturdy to the touch.
However, when I was putting it together each piece is painted particle board at its core. One of the minor issues that bothered me is the particle board was not painted that well very much revealing it is particle board. It can't be seen when put together though.
It is heavy. I had to open the box downstairs and bring each piece upstairs since bringing th box upstairs was going to be a two man job.
Assembly took an hour though I took my time. The directions are easy to follow. It can be assembled by one person but I suggest two. Each panel is long making connections awkward to make on your own.
Overall, It is a good product for the price. I'm happy and would recommend it.”
