“The product was well made and very easy to assemble. It was heavy and sturdy. The styling is plain but satisfactory. A good value for the price. However, the finish definitely is not "reddish brown" as advertised. It is a very dark brown with no reddish tint whatsoever. There also are no openings in the back wall behind the glass doors, contrary to what I was told by the store prior to making the purchase. Hence, you cannot house any electronic gear behind the glass doors. At 32", the unit is also an inch or two taller than it should be for optimum TV viewing height.”

(the biggest TV that would fit in it was 32") I was going back and forth on whether to get the 42" or 50". The 42" is 2 inches higher so I decided it would be a better option because my bed is pretty high. The stand did have minor damage when delivered, but it is not noticeable. All in all, I'm happy with it.”

“For those of you on the fence about this piece, don't hesitate. I received mine and it was in perfect condition. Not one flaw anywhere on it. As far as color, it's a beautiful dark brown that in no way has any "cherry" or red undertones to it. The center bottom shelf fit my AV received very well (Denon receiver that needed 17 inches of width and 16 inches of depth) for those that might think this is too narrow for an AV receiver. In terms of assembly, given that this seems to be the chief gripe of most people I wanted to be sure and address this topic. From my experience in putting the smaller unit together (42 inch stand), it took me less than 1hr. The pictures are beyond simple to follow and the only tricky part is screwing the top onto the unit. You have to insert the screws upside down and essentially blind, but if you insert them steadily and slowly, the threads catch right away and the job is done! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a "tall boy" type of TV stand that is actually functional in terms of fitting DVD players, cable boxes, AV receivers, sound bars, etc.”

Easy to Assemble, but....

“This was a gift for my mother and she was very excited about it. Sadly this experience was not so great. Once it got here I was excited but to my surprise the small strips of wood on the side of the cabinet were falling off. I guess during assembly the staples used only went through the first piece of wood and missed the second. Taking it out of the box is a task on its own. Once I had everything out of the box and noticed parts falling off it was too late to store it back in the box and have it picked up. So I decided to count my loses and used wood glue to try to put the pieces that were falling off back where they went. One good thing about the product is that it is easy to put together (aside from taking it out of the box).”
