The only con on this unit is the top area where the components go is not tall enough for our receiver. We could not fit our receiver in that area, and had to turn it on its side, remove a shelf in one of the enclosed cabinets, and place it inside there.”

Delivery was quick (total of 10 mins in the house) and the unit came in 1 piece (rather than having to be assembled like the site describes). There is a small marble insert on the bottom where the optional fireplace would sit (we did not purchase this option) and the entire unit is solid wood and looks great.”

We won’t buy from Ashley again

“We love the finished product, but were unhappy on a number of counts. The salesperson told us (even when we prodded her several times) that the only assembly required was to slide the fireplace in. She was well aware that we did not want to do more than that. (We were deciding if instead we should choose white glove delivery) However, when delivered it came in a big box and required 2 hours of assembly time. One of the hinges that held the side panels was pulled away from the wood and we had to use wood putty and screw the hinge back on (luckily this did not seem to change how it supported the stand).
