Installation pin & locknut hardware could be much improved

“Packaging was excellent & protected the wood despite some gashes to the 3 boxes during transit by FedEx. I put mine together that day of arrival. All fastener counts were good. The Chinese 2-piece locking screws however were substandard. Only a couple actually locked in place. I’ve used these before on many installations but these were the worst ever in quality. I wished afterwards I had glued all seams together where these are needed to be used. I did in the end glue the top piece in place to help maintain its integrity during moving of the frame.”
