“The TV stand is very solid and looks great. It was packaged very well and the instructions were clear and accurate. After putting it together I found a large scratch on the top and two dents on the front edge of the top, right where they are most visible. It was packed so well the damage must have happened at the factory. There were other signs of poor quality control such as rough edges on some of the trim and uneven finished surfaces. Low prices come at a cost!”

Warped wood

“Bought this media center for TV in finished basement at our new house. Simple enough to put together but I do not like that more than 50% of the product is assembled with the "twist" fasteners that simply hook onto the dowel tab. That is a red flag for me. I would rather spend the time fastening everything with solid screw with pre-drilled holes. Finish is great and I appreciate that it is solid wood. HOWEVER, after having it assembled for only 1 month the entire one-piece top has now warped and sagged on ALL sides. It was not like this right out of the box because I checked all pieces before assembling. I am the father of a trim carpenter and do quite a bit of work on my own (tables, DIY projects, etc) and this is unacceptable, especially for the price. Local Sam's club has similar piece that is pre-assembled and likely of better quality. Won't be purchasing from Simplihome again if this is the quality of products they sell (add in the assembly time and labor on top of that)”

Black media stand looks great

“Love the looks of this media stand. Real wood, functional and lots of storage. My new 65" TV looks great on it. I thought it was a product of and made in either USA or Canada, but it appears to have come from Vietnam. I'm unable to find anywhere that states where the product is from or where it is manufactured.”

Well Made

“Received furniture and put together. Note it take a good 2-3 hours to assemble but is well worth it. The piece is beautiful and very well made. I would have given five stars but after i had it together it was noticed the top had an 3" diameter area that was scratched and attempted to be repaired. I did not notice this before i had started. I was not going to spend 2 hours taking apart to sent back. Overall, i would definitely recommend this item and only advise to check every piece before putting together.”
