“We installed the tv on the wall, but wanted a cabinet below to protect it, and put the center speaker. The tv is 76" wide. This cabinet fit the bill. I love the sliding doors on the sides to hide dvds and a video game (I know, oldschool, but I'm not tossing them even though we stream many new ones these days). The center shelves are adjustable even if the product details says they are not! They do have shelf pins and holes, so we could fit the center speaker on the top shelf. If you look at the instructions for putting it together, you'll see the holes on those two vertical boards. It wasn't too difficult to put together, although we did need to move one preassembled clip which took a little drill, but it wasn't difficult. There are two flip down supports on the underside of the bottom board, with spring action. With the size of the unit, 70", those are fairly important to keep it from sagging. There are only 6 furniture bolts to assemble, the rest uses already attached metal clips and metal slots.
It looks beautiful even if it is made with particle board plus wood veneer. It is heavy though, so when and if we move one day, I saved the instructions to possibly take it apart. Or the next owners of the house will buy it with the house because the love the media room.”

“We just bought a 75 inch TV and this works great. I bought it sight unseen and I'm impressed with it. It has a nice color and looks like a fairly expensive piece. The adjustable shelves in the middle allowed me to put my receiver and center channel in exactly as I wanted it and it looks nice. The assembly was fairly easy with 2 people. It uses pictures and was a little confusing at first but after a step or two you can easily figure it out. The way the pieces fit together was very well designed unlike other products I have had to put together in the past. In my opinion you get what you pay for and the was moderately priced and worth the money. You could get a solid wood, hand stained piece that would look better but you should expect to pay at least twice as much. I'm happy with my purchase.”

“Built very sturdy, although the assembly was a bit tough when some areas didn’t line up easily. The look is high quality with great texture all around. One thing to note - the side shelf areas do not have holes in the back paneling, I had to drill my own for some wires. Also, the width of the side shelf is 17.5” while the opening is about 14”. This means I had top drop my 17” wide a/v receiver in from above before putting the top on. I do not look forward to the effort it will take one day when I want to swap it out. Those quirks aside, I’m very happy with it.”

The only negative for us is our receiver unit is a bit too long and is slightly protruding from the middle section rendering the sliding doors only partially operable. “We've had this TV console for about a month now and love it. I'd been searching for one about these dimensions to offset the size of our tv. I wanted the base to be noticeably larger than the television because my previous Tv and console just looked like a big box. Added pictures to show 55” TV in comparison to console size. I love the whole sliding bar door trend, but had nowhere in my home that I could implement the concept. So, I'm happy with this compromise.”
