“This chair reclines when you put the legs up and does not allow you to sit up straight in the chair. We purchased this chair for my husband who has a very bad back. He can hardly stand sitting in it. If the chair has the foot area raised, he has to recline back. If he tries to raise the back, the foot piece drops to a level where he feels like he is sliding out of the chair. I tried sitting in the chair and it is not comfortable. Does not feel like the model we tried in the showroom!”

“We love these chairs except........they stink. We even had them swapped out three weeks later and they seemed OK at first but nope. Three months later and they still have a strong musty, chemical smell. Went to the showroom and theirs smelled too. Not the brown ones. They smell like actual leather.”

“The Ashley Signature Design Man-Den is high quality, durable, and well designed reclining furniture. We’re glad to have cancelled our other order from a different furniture store and purchased this. We have two power recliners and the power reclining sofa. All pieces have desirable power lumbar and power headrests for ultimate relaxation.
These are solidly well constructed and the leather/leather match materials are high quality and should last many years. It is mechanically sound as well. The sofa’s hidden fold down lighted console is awesome and all pieces have perfect sized storage bins hidden under the armrests. Love this furniture!”

“After a week with our Man-Den furniture, we are a little upset that we didn't buy the set with better headrest movement. My wife is short and doesn't like the way the headrest on these lifts up or the gap that it leaves behind her neck. We have both noticed extra stress behind our knees after sitting on these for a week too. While we love the material and the color, and functionality of the touch panel on top of the armrest, we just don't feel like the comfort factor lived up to what we experienced in the store.”

“I just wish it had a memory button and separate adjustment for the back without moving the legs. After setting the leg/back combo, head rest, and lumber I have to reset them all every time I get up then sit back down. Sometimes after the legs are where I want them I wish I could adjust the back without affecting the legs. I know, picky. But a car seat usually has a memory option.”

“It’s a HORRIBLE chair! Not enough of padding in the back of the chair. If you’re a big guy do not get this chair. I’ve had it for ten days now and it’s KILLING MY BACK. Customer care has been awesome trying to accommodate me. I hoping they take it back and exchange it for something else or a store credit towards another chair. And I’m not a heavy set guy I’m an x bodybuilder. I can say this again they are trying to accommodate me.”
