not quality "leather"

“I wrote a review for the loveseat that goes with this couch in March 2022. We purchased the set in 2019. The reclining mechanisms squeak terribly, almost from Day 1. The "leather" that we were promised would hold up to our cats is now a scratched up mess. My main gripe is the peeling "leather" on the headrest. We did purchase the warranty but it doesn't cover the peeling. Ashley promptly responded to my concerns asking for more information but more than one month later, I have not heard back from them and my review for the loveseat is no longer on the site. We will never purchase from Ashley again.”

“I have had this sofa for 6 years and it is still holding up very well! Leather is perfect, of course it's been sat on but not sagging. Color hasn't faded abs stitching in tact. They have another version of this model with a center console. Great investment.”

Front is not real leather, and scratches easily.

“Beautiful couch, but do not be fooled. The “leather” front parts are not leather. This couch is easily scratched, and scratches straight through to a black fabric. The coating seems like a plastic coating that scratches every time someone rubs against it driving me crazy. I have only had this sectional for about 5 months but much to long to return it.”

“I love it! The dual reclining couch allows you to relax far enough away from 1 other person. Not ideal for more than 2 people. 2 humans and 3 medium dogs sit comfortably together on this couch. Nice to sleep on as well.”

“I love the way this furniture set looks. Its sits a bit high and is a little stiff but I am sure it will break in. The seat on the right side of the love seat makes a popping noise when you sit down or move around on it. I do wish the love seat had slightly larger seats but I love my new furniture just the same. I am so glad I finally was able to purchase and be delivered new furniture. Lets hope this lasts awhile as it was a little pricey.”

“Overall, we like this sofa. It's very comfortable when reclined. Love the power reclining buttons. Wish the lumbar pillows were removable or could be zipped open and adjusted.
It does have a strong odor. Not sure if it's the dyed leather or what. It's not a bad smell, but a strong smell. Hoping that goes away in time.”

“Bought this a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be happier!
So far the mechanics have been operational as well as stealthily efficient. The gorgeous rich color coupled with a supremely functional design makes it a masterpiece in my media room. The fact that it is constructed of supple and strong top quality leather only adds to its high quality value!
The seats are so wide I feel like a child sitting in an adult’s chair and I am 260 pounds! It reclines and retracts effortlessly and is so comfortable that I have caught myself asleep on numerous occasions.
I could drone on an on about how happy I am to have made this purchase, but suffice to say that if you can afford it, as it is top of the line in expense as well as comfort and functionality, you should treat yourself to the best!”

Poor Quality sofas

“We have had our couch for 3 years now and about a year and a half ago the couch started to peel. The piece that is peeling is what goes under the actual back cushion. It doesn't feel like the actual leather that the rest of the couch is made of. We have 2 of these and both of them are peeling. Very disappointed! We loved these couches until this happened.”

“we love it - it's very comfy - but it arrived with the track bent - so the power part on one recliner didn't work right and made a loud noise like it was going to break. We called to get it fixed and someone came out today - they knew what the problem was before but they didn't send the part so now we have to wait even longer for the part to arrive and then call again to get it serviced. It does make me worry how reliable this furniture will be long term.”

“So very disappointed in these. I bought the power sofa and loveseat and they are already splitting and creasing and we havent even had them two months. Also the color in the photo looks gray and says gray but in our home with alot of light it is a dark blue really. and the arms of the sides are hard so you dont sit on them like regular sofas so I am having a hard time adjusting to that. But the main thing is the splitting of the leather.”

I like to be able to lay down on my side sometimes and you really can't with these couches unless you have pillows. Otherwise they have been comfy.”
