Too much assembly required

“I bought this chair from a different seller about 5 years ago online. It arrived assembled. Honestly, the amount of assembly this Ashley purchase required is totally unnecessary. It would not require much more space if it was mostly assembled. When there is this much assembly, the product does not hold together as well. Disappointed, Other than that, this chair fits a medium-sized person much better than most recliners so promotes good posture.”

Perfect recliner for me

“Hard to believe this chair was less than $700. The recliner is a little on the small side, but it's fine for me and my big hips. It's a bit higher than I need, so my feet don't quite touch the ground (I do have very short legs). But overall, it's mighty fine and I'm glad I got it. Something to be aware of is because of the small size of the base on both the chair and the ottoman, the chair can tip if you try to get out of it when it is reclined. I'm used to putting my legs on one side of an ottoman, but this one will tip. Absolutely nothing important unless you have little ones crawling around that may try to climb. Again, it's a wonderful chair and I have no regrets buying it. As a bonus, the leather makes my sitting room smell like a new car!”
