Run away from Ashley furniture and do not purchase anything

“The whole situation from ordering it and having it delivered was extremely frustrating. They presented very well for the sale and how they’re gonna help deliver and set up. Not one time are they told that you have to work with a different company to deliver. The new company charged you a fee that you’re not aware of. Then you have to pay an additional fee For them to deliver the boxes inside your house. When you pay the original fee, that’s just for them to drop it off in your driveway, then if you physically want them to bring in in your house that’s a different fee. This is extremely bulky item. It has not easy to put together. It took me three days to put together with constant calling all I was given was please watch a YouTube video. Unfortunately, the YouTube video is an older video Not the same chair not even the same model so you have a really hard time figuring it out. This chair came with zero instructions or manual. It’s really disgusting that it also took them over four months to charge my credit card, and I kept calling the bank and approving it because holes kept being put on my card.Customer service all around was horrible experience and the delivery was horrible experience. If I had an option I would return the chair immediately and tell them they can keep chair and I was my money back. I have talked to supervisor after supervisor after supervisor about my issues and concerns. Every single time I talk to a supervisor they transferred me to someone else in charge who promises to get back nobody ever returned your call. Even more frustrating every time I’ve called. I’ve called a minimum of six times. Nobody takes notes or record so I have to start all over from the very beginning and tell everybody the whole entire story again, but still no outcome or resolution on how to fix the problems of the chair”

They sent me two defective chairs. What a nightmare!

“They delivered the first chair and I spent about 5 hours trying to assemble it before figuring out it was defective. It took several emails to get them to admit the defect. They asked if I wanted them to send a replacement and I said only if they could guarantee me it didn't have the same problem. It took a couple weeks for them to pick up the chair that was sitting in pieces in the middle of the living room. Then it took a couple weeks to send the new one. After all that, and spending several hours trying to assemble the new chair, it had the same defect. Osaki was completely unhelpful. They kept trying to say it was my fault but wouldn't explain the photos showing the defect. Complete debacle.”
