“It’s small, not real leather , the foot rest hits the back of my leg, not my foot area, that cramps my leg. It’s also a challenge to build the chair”

“The chair is not very comfortable. I bought it as a gift for my boyfriend and he is not a fan. I however will be keeping it because when I contacted them within approximately a week after receiving it. They informed me that if I wanted to return it, it had to be returned in the original box (which came torn in two places) and that I would have to pay for the shipping. I can only imagine how much that would cost with the weight of the chair. I am not very happy with Ashely at this point.”

“I originally was looking for flex steel brand like this and setttled for this smaller recliner. It arrived nicely packed. Was pretty easy to assemble with allen wrenches included. Looks very nice. Is not suitable for 6ft and bigger person. Im 5’3 and am pretty comfortable in it. Slightly firm. But if just sitting and lean over forward it tends to want to tilt, base could be bigger.”

A Nice Compact Chair

“After reading reviews of this chair, I decided to purchase it because of it’s compact size. I’m not disappointed with the purchase but there are some things to be aware of.
I’m just under 5’2”, my feet barely reach the floor and when I go to stand, the chair tips forward a bit. When in the reclined position, the heels of my feet hang over the end which is not a problem for me. As far as the width, it’s like sitting in coach on a plane, it’s a little snug, if I weighed 175lbs, it might be a bit uncomfortable. There’s absolutely no lumbar support if that is important to you. It did require assembly that I was able to do myself. The chair looks good and functions properly. It’s great for a small space and for me, it’s comfortable enough. I’m not sure it I’d recommend this chair for a tall person or a person who is above average in weight. I gave it 5 stars because, for me, it fits nicely in my space and I fit in it comfortably enough.”

“This is a comfortable, handsome, and sturdy piece of furniture. The seat, base, and leg rest came assembled as a unit. The back, arms, and headrest need to be assembled, as does the leg rest lever. The chair is very stable, reclines smoothly with little effort, and holds reliably. And the leather-like material is very soft and high quality. Also, I'm 6'0" 180 and it feels and fits like a big chair but looks streamlined and not bulky. I highly recommend.”

“This chair looks great and is comfortable. However, it sits too low to the ground. It was a gift for my husband. He is not a large man ,but the chair tips over easily. When he tried to put the foot rest down ,he slid out onto the floor. he was not hurt, but I am waiting for information to return the chair.”
