Disaster, very disappointed

“Very disappointed with that sofa. I got it delivered today. As I started putting it together I noticed I couldn't screw in a small front board because the holes are way to big for the screws. Metal inside hole was missing. I called and they will get in touch within 3-5days. So I kept going and saw I can't use the zipper to open it to screw on the arm rest. Guess I open the zipper and leave it flopping on the floor open. Well I kept going and saw 1 leg was also missing the metal inside the screw hole. Finally called Ashley a second time. I do not recomend this couch at all. So much pieces that don't fit. My back hurts and I could cry”

Great sofa, disappointing sleeper

“I gave this sofa three stars because half of its function is great…the other half was..well…disappointing to say the least! The sofa came in a compact folded way that allowed us to actually get it into our basement (a minor miracle) It was assembled easily. Then we tried the sleeper function and things went downhill. I thought this was a queen size sleeper. It’s NOT. I would call it an oversized twin size, not even a full. The sleeper is best for someone five feet tall or shorter and maybe around 100lbs. Otherwise…VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. As a sofa, it looks plenty sharp and is comfortable enough for our game room and teenagers. I just don’t know what to do to sleep guests overnight. Sigh.”

“If you add a soft blanket, you can totally sleep on this comfortably. If you’re tall you probably won’t fit. For sitting, it’s fantastic. Pretty firm, has a decent bounce. Back panels move individually, you can lay half the couch flat so your dog can comfortably lay next to you.”

“The couch is not comfortable. Assembly was not easy for one person, and one of the corners of the couch did not have a hole drilled for the leg to be fastened to the couch. I had to create a small hole and force it to become threaded while turning the bolt attached to the leg. All of the legs bend in, so eventually I will have to either have the already very short couch directly on the floor without legs, or I'll have to donate it and purchase something better quality. I was really excited about the product when it arrived at my door, but I was severely disappointed by the time it was assembled and put into place. I wish I would have listened to the other reviews. Knowing how much of a pain it is to get any help with returning the product, I won't even bother. I just won't purchase anything from this company again.”

“Ordered this futon online and received it rather quickly. I highly suggest two people to carry this to its resting place. I was impatient and attempted to slide this across my hardwood floors by myself…the latches on the futon ended up scratching my floors. Totally my fault! Futon was simple to assemble and didn’t take that long. I did have a gripe about some of the screws being way too short to attach the middle legs (see pics). After assembly, the futon doesn’t feel or look like a cheap one and functions as described. I am using this in a small spare bedroom and fits perfectly.”

“The product was of poor quality. it got damaged after just 3 months of normal use. I reached out to Ashley for support, but nothing was done to resolve the issue. Very disappointing experience. I don’t recommend buying this futon or shopping at Ashley Furniture.”
