Bought extended warranty but manufacturer will not replace chairs

“Review of Ashley Furniture store in Bakersfield and Corporation. We purchased 2 power leather recliner’s U280413 plus the extended warranty at Ashley in Bakersfield CA. These chairs make a horrible noice that make your skin crawl. I have been given a run around since April 22, 2025. After the warranty company inspected the chairs they found it was manufactured defect and referred me back to Bakersfield. Bakersfield Manager Saul said my one year warranty with the store expired and when I said it was manufactured defect he referred me to corporate. Corporate sent a man to look at these he came with only a flashlight. He shined the light on the chair and said he thought the leather should be softened. Basically as they are used the sound will get worse. Ashley Corporation said the are fine basically we should live with the noise. These chairs cost $3,399.00, delivery $249.99 and warranty $469.99.
I would never recommend anyone purchasing from Ashley they do not back their products. My two chairs make a horrible noise every time they recline. The repair person the company sent only looked at them with a flashlight then corporate said they would not replace them. Even though the warranty company said it was a manufacture defect”
