“I love my new console. It is sturdy and made with real wood. The dark color is rich and works well with my decor. However, one drawer is a little wobbly, but not as noticeable. I just folded up a small piece if paper and inserted it to stabilize it.”

“Very pleased with the purchase. Well packed and protected and easy to assemble. It is heavy so it is a two person job. Only 8 bolts to assemble…I only had trouble getting one of the bolts into its fitting but with a little patience it was fine. Fit and finish was exceptional, very sturdy so no worries of accessories falling over if someone bumped into it. Vietnam is a quality furniture manufacturer. This is our third purchase of furniture from Ashley. Only negative was the online order process. Once we placed the order we were not given a choice of delivery date. FedEx delivered within 3 days and placed it at our front door. I would have preferred a phone call from the driver so I could have had him place it in the garage. As it turned out he rang our doorbell at 6pm. By the time I opened the door he was getting into his truck and the 100 lb package was in our entryway.”

“I love it! I couldn't be more pleased with this table. It's beautiful and looks great in my hallway. I definitely recommend getting this if you are thinking about it. I hired a handyman to assemble it and it took him no time at all. If you want to do it yourself it's pretty easy to do especially with 2 people. my table was not as distressed as the one pictured, but that was fine by me.”

Otherwise the table is pretty much what I expected. Not quite as dark as I was envisioning but definitely distressed black.”

All I had to do was attach the legs and have someone help me lift it and set it in place. It is very heavy. I love it! By the way I am 68 years old and I put the legs on myself. So you don't need two people to put this together, just someone to help you lift it.”

The only comments: the very bottom of all four legs has a more progressive change in color, which is fine since all four legs are the same, but I did not expect it to be so prominent. Also, the entire piece wobbled when empty, perhaps because one leg is shorter than another -

The 800 number is a waste of time as you have to repeat everything when reaching a live person. That person is unintelligible and reads from a script.
FedEx dropped the package on the driveway with no notification. It was getting ready to rain. 2 day estimate for them to pick it up.
Ashley stores will not deal with the return.”

“We are in the process of moving into new condo and purchased the Galveston Sofa/Console Table online as they did not have the table in the Mason, Ohio Ashley store for us to view. We are unhappy with the table and were told that we could not return it to the store as they do process returns and that we had to call Ashley Customer Care at (937) 874-7020 which is nothing more than a series of very frustrating automated menus, none of which mentioned anything about assisting with a return. I was able to find a number on the web and finally did speak with an Ashley representative who stated that the 72 hour return had passed and that there is nothing they could do to assist us with this return. I will never shop at Ashley ever again and will let everyone I know what a frustrating company Ashley is to work with.”
