Scratched Table

“I picked up my end table from the warehouse and when I got home to put it together, I opened the box and the top of the table was scratched and had a small chunk out of the table. I tried calling the store a handful of times and I could never get through to talk to anyone so I had to contact customer service. They now want to send someone out to see the table before they will approve the exchange. I don’t understand why I can’t just bring it back to the warehouse and they will give me a new one. It’s obviously defective and should be replaced no questions asked. So far I’m not happy with the customer service”
