Nice Furniture, not very good pictures or labeling

“Photos on the website make this look very similar to gray and white furniture that Ashley sells and it is labeled as two tone, which is not very descriptive. I bought it, thinking it was gray and white. It is brown and tan. To return it would have cost me more than the item was worth and Ashley was almost no help in doing the return. So I sold to a second hand store and at a 70% loss to me. I will not buy from Ashley online again. Poor customer experience”

And it is not backwards, the drawers should be on the other side, you don’t want to open the drawers where your feet are. I love all the storage space and the colors are great. So happy with it. “The Bolanburg is very attractive, sturdy, and has great features like 4-drawer storage and a smooth lift-top. After using it for 2 weeks, I would recommend 2 improvements. There ought to be a lock on the castors/wheels so that it won’t roll away when you prop your feet on it. Second, if you use the lift top as a table (I will often bring food from the kitchen and watch tv at the couch), it lowers with only a few pounds of pressure. It’s fine for a plate and a drink, but if you ignore your manners and put your elbows on the table- down it falls. (Or if your cat decides to investigate what’s for dinner- kerplunk!) I am considering keeping something in the table to brace it open at the desired height- but a built-in locking mechanism would be simple and very useful.”

Just don't get used to putting too much decorations on top if you plan on using it often. I saw a review that said they wanted the drawers and lift up to face their couch so they were disappointed. “I thought a review said this thing had wheels, but mine does not. Second thing, the drawers are on the wrong side of this thing. I wanted the drawers to be towards my couch, but it's on the opposite side. Since it's a lift table, it lifts towards the couch a certain way so it's not like I can just flip it. Just a heads up that this ships in one piece, and it's VERY heavy. I had to get mine up a flight of stairs. Have someone ready to help you move this box. Finally, I bought the bolanburg dining table to match this as my living room/dining room is an open to each other. They are 100% different colors of cream. The table is more white, and this is more of a yellow. they don't really "match"”

I have been attempting to resolve this issue with Ashley Furniture and also extended warranty, which I also purchased. I have gotten absolutely nowhere is resolving this issue. I have referred back and forth, and back and forth. Hurry up and wait for no action. I wish to either have this piece of furniture repaired or replaced. Because of the crack in the table and the customer service I have received attempting to take care of this matter, I cannot give a rating of over one star. I am very dissatisfied.”
