Media console legs snap off when to move.

“Very dissatisfied with this purchase. After assembling per instructions, I attempted to slid this media console to desired location. Two of the legs broke off because of the poor engineering design of this media console. Just how did they allow this product to be sold using paper like wood to support 110 pounds of console? I had to reinforce the bottom of this media council using real lumber to secure the legs. This was my first purchase from Ashley‘s. I believe it’s going to be my last.”

“I searched far and wide for a console and this is exactly what I was looking for!! I love how the turntable is "hidden" and it fits perfectly in the space I needed to fill! It took around 2-3 hours to assemble but worth the time and instructions were easy to follow. Very sturdy!”

“Great piece. However, a 5-star rating is truly in the details. There are a few places where, what appears to be, the finishing coat dried unevenly leaving drip marks. Some more noticeable than others. I have contacted the brand company but have not heard back at this point.”

Assembly ruined it

“Very time-consuming to assemble. Even so, putting it together went pretty well until the second to the last step, when we tried to install the spring hinge to the lid. The holes for it did not match the diagram, but I screwed it into the holes provided. The hinge did not bend when I tried to shut the lid, and it ripped out the very tiny screws at the back hinge of the lid, stripping them. We are still trying to figure out what the problem is. Trying to get the spring hinge to bend takes a lot of unnecessary strength, so we are oiling it now to see if that helps. Too bad, because the cabinet looks pretty nice.”
