“Shopping online was a breeze. However, the packaging and delivery was less than desirable. The outside of the box looked like it had been thrown off the back of the truck with multiple holes in the box. As we were bringing the box inside we kept hearing rattling inside the box. When the box was opened, there were multiple metal backets loose inside the box. As we were pulling out other pieces of the table we realized the top had been scratched and dinged. There were also more small dings where the glass inlay was to sit.
When I called customer service with every intention of requesting a replacement table I encounterred a bot which took multiple requests to get a human on the line. Once the call was answered by a human my frustration grew because the connection was terrible and the rep barely spoke english. I spent 30 minutes trying to explain I just wanted to return the table for another. He then offered to discount the table if I just kept it. I did not want a damaged table no matter the discount.
I then asked if I could just return the table and get a refund. I was told to donate the damaged table to a nonprofit and send my proof of donation to get my refund.
This entire process was so outrageous to maneuver. I requested to speak with a supervisor MULTIPLE times. After much frustration I was advised that my refund was processed but that it would now take 7-10 days to get it which I found crazy because it takes less than 24 hours for them to take your money but 7-10 to get it back. I asked where to return the damaged table and was told to just dispose of it.”
