Don’t recommend this product or Ashley’s

“We purchased this table online, paid full price. We did not receive the product on time. There were significant delays by the shipper. Ashley sent us a table that had clearly been returned. The styrofoam was broken up and the hardware was found throughout the box. Based on a previous experience trying to return a product to Ashley, we knew we needed proof of damage so we put the table together. We found it was missing parts and was messed up in places. We called requesting parts and a discount on the price since we already put it together. They responded with an email advising they would pick up the product the next day. Less than 24 hours notice to take it back apart and repackage. Some of us work Ashley! The table itself is cheap pressed wood with a paper top. The paper top pulled off when we removed the identifying stickers applied to one of the pieces. I wouldn’t buy this product or anything else from Ashley due to quality of furniture and their poor customer service.”

“Overall I like this table but the only drawback is that the lift top is very hard to open and close. The springs are very stiff. I am hoping that they will get easier as time goes by. Also, because the top of the coffee table is so heavy with the lift top hardware and the bottom is so light, it slides around very easily. When it is opened and closed it pushes back and forth. Overall I like it and I wanted a gray coffee table so it is the best option I could find but I do think it is a bit expensive for what it is”
