“I am a bit annoyed, as I went to register my bedsheets for the 1 year warranty, and I am forced to review them. When I try to submit the warranty details without a review, it says that I need to select to skip the review option, but there is no "skip" option. I haven't slept on them yet, so I was not prepared to review them. It took The Brick 4 days to get them shipped from their Delta location to Langford, so I wasn't able to actually sleep on them on the date of purchase. It's hard to give accurate feedback when I haven't washed them or slept on them yet, hence why I took a star away.”

“For the money spent on these sheets, I am very disappointed in these. First night to sleep on these, I woke up at 2 am drenched in sweat. Thought it was odd - didn’t contribute to the sheets at the time. The next night, I woke up again with my legs sweating (as that was the only part of my body still making contact with the sheets. The product package description notes “instant cooling” but apparently not for me… my husband also was not a fan and felt warm in them. Guess we will try them during the winter months instead of using our flannel sheets… disappointed they didn’t work as described. And just to be clear, I haven’t had a night sweat in years…put my TJ Maxx sheets back on the bed and sleeping fine past few nights - no night sweats.”

Worst Sheets Ever!!!

“These are probably the worst sheets I've ever owned and especially at $300 a set it's just ridiculous! The flat sheet is twice the width of the queen bed and all but touches the floor on both sides. The material is stretchy and very weird and attaches itself to whatever bedclothes you wear. I have medical issues that cause me to make urgent runs to the bathroom at night and suffice it to say that due to the sheets sticking to and tangling around me and the bedclothes I managed to soil the bed. The sheets aren't as nice as silk sheets but the reason I don't own silk is because they slide off the bed which these to also. I like to just pull the sheets and comforter up in the morning when making the bed but that can't be done with these since the flat sheet is usually all on one side or the other so everything has to come off the bed and made again from scratch.”

“I was so excited to try out these sheets. I burn up of a night so these sheets were a perfect fit for me. I got the king sized and it comes with 2 king sized pillow cases, 2 fitted sheets and a flat sheet. I got the gray color because that color goes with anything. I can say that these have easily become my favorite sheets. The cooling of these sheets is phenomenal. I don't burn up of a nice anymore. “This sheets are a whole new level of keeping cool at night, they are made out of very high quality material. a side note: I work out alot and I often look for the most up to date work out clothing that will keep me cool during my work outs due to excesive heat and this sheets give me the exact same eeling of freshness and comfort that those sport wear do. A whole set is included. I love the pilow covers which to me completes the whole experience.My husband who over heats very easly is constantly kicking the sheets off the bed and I also end up with no covers however with this sheets he actually wraps himself in them fixing that issue. in all the years i never seen him do that except in winters cold night. “I recently received a free set of the Ver-tex Performance sheet set that ultra cooling. I am amazed at what I have been missing. Our 1875 built home doesn't have central air so it's a lot of ceiling and window a/c's. These sheets are made from 100% nylon which I was sure would be too hot to sleep on. Wrong, after washing in cold water (no fabric softener) and tossed in the dryer, they came out perfect. Easy and firm hold elastic around the fitted sheet means it wasn't coming off during the night. It stayed firmly in place. They are soft, comfortable, and absolutely cooling on the skin. A great night sleep. Thank you Bedgear for a "true" set of sheets that do keep us cool while we sleep.”

“I live in Texas and I run hot, so cool sheets are a must for me. These are super luxurious feeling and keep me cooler than other kinds of sheets I've tried (including percale, cotton, etc.). The material is strechy and feels almost like a workout top, so it's super smooth. Very slippery though, my comforter slides around more easily. Another positive is it doesn't wrinkle like other sheet materials. Color is true white. These are pricey, but if you've tried a lot of other sheets and it's time to invest in a good set, try these out.”

I have some crazy issues with temperature regulation, and struggle nightly with going to sleep freezing cold only to wake up suddenly in the middle of the night supper hot and drenched in sweat. “The Bedgear Performance Sheet Set with Ver-Tex Technology are excellent bed linens! The king/California king size sheet set includes a fitted sheet, flat sheet and two pillow cases. The fabric is very thin, and is composed of 100% nylon. Most significantly, these sheets are extremely soft and smooth. They are an absolute pleasure to live with, as they are extremely soft and comfortable as well as being cool to the touch. The nylon fabric is knitted, so the fabric can “breathe”. The sheets appear very well made. The seams are nicely sewn and finished. The pockets of the fitted sheet are deep and generous, and the oversized, very wide elastic band is great. Bedgear calls it the “Powerband”. Uniquely, the pillowcases also have an elastic “Luxe Powerband” to retain them on the pillows. The fabric has a good deal of stretch to it, which not only improves their appearance and ease of making the bed, but also greatly contributes to a very comfortable bed to rest in. The package indicates that the linens were “designed in NY”, and also states that they were manufactured in China. The sheets laundered beautifully in the recommended cold water, gentle wash cycle. They emerged from the low heat setting dryer cycle remarkably smooth and surprisingly unwrinkled. They cannot be touched up with an iron, though! Since they are constructed of nylon, the fabric would likely melt or burn if exposed to high temperatures. The Light Grey color of the sheets is an extremely nice shade of grey, which has a nice warm silvery-gray appearance. It is perfect for our color scheme. The Bedgear Performance Ver-Tex sheets are terrific! The luxuriously soft, smooth and cool feel of the fabric, combined with an equally luxurious appearance makes them a perfect choice. We are extremely pleased and satisfied with the Bedgear Performance Ver-Tex sheet set.”

Ver-Tex is awesome except for 1 flaw

“I love everything so far. I just wish the protector was a full mattress cover that fully encases the mattress with a zipper and everything. I have five dogs and they rub up against things and having a cover that fits like a fitted sheet with none of the protection on the side can mean that stains happen to the side of my mattress and the cover can simply be nudged off the edge. I also would love if the sold pillow cases separate because I don't know anyone who sleeps with a king size pillow even on a king size bed they even give you standard pillows for king size beds at hotels... I don't see the logic in not throwing in 2 standard pillow cases for any sheet set of king size or higher this is just my opinion for all bedding companies on the end bit here. Over all I'm really excited about everything as they are 100% cooling so far.”
