“I absolutely love this pillow! I was having issues with my neck due to an old pillow that i should have replaced awhile ago and when I 1st got this pillow I was a little worried due to the thickness of the 3.0. But as instructed, I gave it some time and within a couple of days noticed my neck pain was near gone and I felt like I was sleeping better. Now it has been over 2 weeks and I feel great. The only thing i would criticize is the pillow doesn't seem to be as cool when I initially lay my head down as the older one I had. I had the 2.0 Lightening prior to the Storm. I always liked that blast of cold on initial head to pillow contact. Minor detail to be honest, because it still balances out the same during sleep.”

Helps with Neck Pain

The Storm 2.0 React Fill Inserts were both a bit denser and more consistent (more filled out) than the 3.0 inserts. That is my only Nitpick. I would still rate these pillows 5 stars. “I already own two Bedgear pillows: a Storm 2.0 which I bought after misreading the chart and then the correct Storm 3.0. I use the 2.0 against the headboard for TV watching and the 3.0 for sleeping. Absolutely the best pillows I've ever owned. Looking for a travel pillow, I purchased the Storm Cuddle Curve 3.0. This pillow is insanely comfortable. The curve allows my shoulder and neck additional inward travel, letting my head rest on the highest and meatiest part of the pillow. Teamed up with the Dri-Tec pillow case, this is a marvelous pillow and is now being used at home. The older Storm 3.0 is now my travel pillow, allowing me to get great support on the road.”

Sidenote, the pillow is much less cooler and breathable with the bedgear pillow protector. Save yourself the money there.”

“I purchased this pillow for the feel and cooking aspect. After a couple of days using it, I was progressively getting more and more dizzy during sleep and when I tried to get out of bed. I would rollover in the middle of the night and instantly wake up so dizzy. I thought something was wrong with me, but it only happened in bed. It went on for about two weeks, and I finally decided it might be the pillow because it was the only new thing in my life. I stopped using the pillow and that night no dizziness. I haven’t been dizzy once since then. Be aware of this with this product.”

Not the Rain I Remembered

“This is my second Rain pillow. I loved the first one that I purchased from a retailer in Jan 2017. It was the best pillow I ever had. Then hurricane Harvey hit and the pillow was destroyed with the house. The retailer no longer carries Bedgear products, so I ordered a Rain 3.0 online. Well, it's not the same pillow. The 3.0 version is way to soft and I also noticed it's much lighter in weight. I miss the older version. I called customer service to inquire about other product options, and they were quite helpful. I did try the online tool, but the results did not make sense for what I was looking for. I'll be exchanging my recent purchase for a different pillow. If you do have any issues, I recommend giving a call to Customer Service. They are very helpful and know their products. Although this particular pillow was not the right one for me, the product quality is excellent and I would still recommend the product, hence the high star rating on this product review.”

Love my Rain 3.0 Pillow

“I tell my Rain 3.0 pillow "I love you" every night before I tell my wife good night. Sometimes I think she gets jealous of my love for this pillow. But I am so happy with the comfort this pillow brings. I am a side sleeper and wake up regularly with my arm numb from laying on my side. Although this pillow hasn't completely eliminated the problem, I find that it happens a lot less frequently. I also get very hot at night and this pillow has kept me much cooler than any other pillow I have owned. Prior to using this pillow, I found that I was constantly folding my pillows in half to provide the support I needed because the stuffing shifted. So far I have been sleeping with this pillow and have never felt as though any filling shifted and have never felt the need to fold it in half. I would definitely recommend this pillow. One point that I should make is that the pillow does smell kind of funny for the first few days out of the box. Once it has had a chance to air out, it doesn't smell. But it may be important to take note in case someone has sensitivities to chemical smells. It would be wise to let the pillow air out for a couple days before you sleep on it if you have any sensitivities.”

This was the heaviest pillow I have owned, till I recently received a free Purple Pillow. Apparently that's the worlds heaviest pillow now. But comfort wise, I still prefer this pillow over the one I received from the purple company. Downside to this pillow is that it is indeed fitted for me, a bigger guy at 240 lbs. My 135 lbs girlfriend doesn't like it, because it's too tall for her. She loves pillows, but she hates that she can't use mine. My pillow must have too much foam stuff in it - it must be a reject! “A side sleeper and regular weight, I found I don't wake up with a sore neck anymore. Does indeed stay cool and shaped. Only suggestion is to try out the firmness - my wife had a lightning which she enjoys and it's a bit softer. Excellent construction.”

Great side sleeping pillow

“Straight out of the box, I put the cover in the washing machine. The pillows inside smell terrible and cannot be washed. I recommend airing them out for several days before putting them back in the cover and using your new pillow. Even in the clean, fresh cover, the smell emanating from inside kept me from going to sleep quickly. The "Storm 1.0" slept cooler than my previous cooling pillow. Although my Storm Performance®️ Pillow 1.0 is perfect for side sleeping, it doesn't work at all for sleeping on my back, it is too high. I love the zip-off washable cover, but I would like to see a more durable zipper (doesn't seem like it will last, we'll see) & the pull (is very tiny). Overall, sleeping really good.”
