Swivel base broken after 1 year of use

“I have 2 of the Beachcroft swivel rocker patio chairs. The supporting brackets on both chairs broke at the welds. Ashley does not have a replacement part so I decided to get them re-welded. Cost was to be $110 minimum. After searching online I found a base for the rocker at patio furniture supplies.com. I read the reviews for base model PFS-32624 and learned a number of the reviews were from people who purchased the same rocker. They advised this base works for the Ashley rocker. You just have to include the sleeve that slides inside the base.
I ordered 2 sets today. Reviews say it is pretty easy to install the new base. P.S. one reviewer had their base re-welded, but it broke again so I picked mine back up from the welder before he had a chance to work on it!”

“We were temporarily using these chairs indoors while waiting for the movers to deliver our belongings to our home. I almost wanted to keep them inside because they are beautiful, casual pieces and very comfortable to sit in. They weren't difficult to assemble but would have been easier if our tools had arrived and been on hand. Allen wrenches consume more time and effort.
We've now been enjoying them outdoors - they look amazing - quality pieces. I bought covers, though, to protect the ivory cushions from droppings from both the tree overhead and birds. Very happy with this set!”

We didn’t pay for the setup shipping and the delivery person left the box on the back patio which was perfect for us! Assembly was a bit tricky because of the swivel base, but we had the perfect tool so it was no problem. We also ordered the 5-piece sectional and our patio is our favorite room now!! We’ve never ordered from Ashley Furniture before and had a great experience all the way through. We even noticed a sale price after the purchase which allowed us to call for a price adjustment before the delivery. We highly recommend.”

“I bought 2 of these chairs in 2020. After less than 2 years, one broke at the base where the 4 supports attach. I contacted Ashley to get a new base and they said they couldn't help. So I purchased a new chair to replace it (at a cost of more than $100 over my 1st purchase). Then recently the second chair's support brackets have cracked making it unsafe to sit in. I would recommend you steer clear of Beachcroft swivel chairs until Ashley Furniture is able to supply a new base for the seriously defective ones.”

“I thought of Ashley furniture a as selling quality merchandise. I purchased the Beachcroft swivel rockers. Like others have stated, after a couple of years, the swivel base broke at the wielding. I was sent back and forth between the store and we care service, only to finally being told you cannot purchase a replacement. They tried to offer me a $100 store credit as a good will offer. Don't know if I want to purchase anymore furniture after the experience of been sent back and forth only to be told no replacement.”
