“The unit was delivered on one of the coldest days this winter. I wanted to get it checked out and assemblied quickly to make sure everything was good. I unpacked the unit and everything looked good, I assembled in about 2 hours and it was very easy "following directions" . The only thing to remember is as you put the frame together keep screws loose until you have most of the pieces assembled ( this helps you align holes that are a little off). I gave this a four based on when you go to put the base on the table top it is somewhat difficult because the holes were off enough that you could not align the four screws, ( my quick fix was to enlarge the holes on the base a little and that solved the problem, the washers still did the job since I only ream out the holes by an 1/8 inch and than I could get the screws started). If you have a helper you can most likely cut down on assembly time. Keep the table top in the base of the box and you can roll the table over by yourself with out scratching or dinging. I than install the beads and the tank and everything was good. Remember when igniting to hold the control knob in until the fire ring is lit for 4 or five seconds, than you can let go and adjust. The cover is a neccesity for the winter to keep the blowing snow out of the table base cabinets from the top ( one con is moisture can easily get through table top becuase of the open slat design). The good thing about the cover is it remains very flexible in the cold weather ( so taking it on and off is very easy). I am going to try to caulk the opening in the slats to help prevent liquids from entering the top and getting into the cabinet area. The flame adjusts nicely and produces heat , I am waiting for a 50 -60 degree day to sit out and enjoy..... The glass beads are nice and they do not short change you on the amount. Over all it is a fantastic looking and great piece of furniture. As for utilzing there is plenty of room to utilize when eating and drinking with the table service area while using the fire pit. ( The fire pit cover is also a great option for more table space when not using the fire pit. I have placed six high chairs around the table and you can place 8 with out any issues. The extra shelf below are so so based on running front to back but will be use ful and a good place to put the cover. The wicker sides seem very durable and should last a long time. the only other negative I see is the top door magnet is not to helpful based on one of the weleded nuts stick out a hair more than the magnet so it does not prove useful, the bottom magnet is good so the doors do stay closed.”

“Overall a good buy. Holes for attaching the base to the tabletop were a bit misaligned, so it required 2 people, some partial fastening of 2 out of 4 sides, and some force on each corner to get the tabletop attached. The table had 2 minor dents on it, but they are barely noticeable. I don’t want to hassle with replacing it and having to reassemble, so I’ll just live with it. Thought igniter was broken, but then realized that the gas knob must be pushed in and held in when igniting the fire table. Note that the tabletop has slats so anything spilled will drip through and get anything on the shelves inside the base wet...Protection from rain with a cover is needed. Finally, the top is metal, so it will get hot in direct sunlight.”
