The good...and the not so good

“I'm writing this review after having the bed for a couple of years. We opted for the Ashley split king adjustable with the Tempurpedic mattress. This review is about the adjustable frame only.
The good - I love the adjustability and the light under the bed.
The not-so-good - Because this is a split king, you'd think there would be some way to tie the bases together, but there's not. They shift and move around a lot and I'm always having to readjust them, even with an actual bed frame. When the two bases shift, one of the mattresses inevitably ends up about 4 inches past the edge of the base.
Also, not so great is the feeling that the middle of the bed (where the seam is down the center) is higher than the outer edge of the bed. I've felt like that since day 1. I'm not sure if this is a mattress or a base problem, but I'm going to say that the base was never leveled properly when it was delivered and put together, and that the delivery team didn't speak enough English to understand my concern.
I am happy overall, but I think that if I had to do it again, I'd buy the Tempurpedic base.”

“The bed is fantastic! If I had to pick a fault, I would like the foot rise to to be straighter like the head rise. I would recommend this bed.
PS . Having praised the bed so lets talk about the mattress. It is a BIG MISFIT with the bed. I have to change it. Springs and an adjustable bed don't work well together. I am surprised that Ashley didn't flag it.”

“Overall, I'm enjoying my base. Love the height from the floor, since I like a higher bed. Love the under bed lighting, not sure how to turn it off yet. The massage feature is really not massaging, its more of a vibration and its a little noisy.”

“Have had the adjustable base for a week. So far so good. Enjoy having the sensored lights under the bed but one downfall is the motion
sensored lights can’t be dimmed (or I haven’t figured out how to yet). I would prefer to have control over the brightness because my pets keep turning on the lights when they walk by and during the night, at times, it can be distracting seeing the glow from under the bed.”

Best Bed Ever!!

“I’ve had a variety of beds over the years (I’m 65), and this is the best bed I’ve ever had! The minute I laid down on it, I knew it was for me. It gave me the “Ahhh” factor. It seemed to mold around my body. There are no pressure points. It’s really great to be able to raise the head of the bed to watch TV or read instead of scrunching a bunch of pillows under my head. By raising the foot of the bed, it takes the pressure off my knees. This bed is expensive but it is worth every plenty and will last the rest of my life!”
