“This is a very sturdy base. I enssembled it myself. It looks like it will last for many years. The instructions are easy to follow and with the cover it looks more expensive than what it really is. I gave it a 3 stars because the slots are not flat and the spacing between them is big and I think thats going to decrease the life of the mattress because it doesnt lay on a completely flat surface. This is important to me because I suffer from back pain. Now if you dont have back problems, this box would be perfect for you and the price is right”

“It took me less than an hour by myself to assemble. Im only 115 lbs and over 60 yrs old so it can be done if you dont have help. I watched a few youtube videos first and chose to assemble it on my wood bed frame. My main concern was being able to lift it and my mattress after it was done. Assembly was easy with only 8 screws that go in corners. I have a 12” memory foam mattress that the foundation supports. I chose this because the shipping was free and Im sick of paying $100.00 delivery fees with local furniture stores. Im very happy with this foundation. My bed is 30” high because I chose the thicker foundation and my bedframe is raised too. I would suggest you measure top mattress and how high your bed frame stands so you can choose which thickness of foundation you will want.”

“I ordered this in August 26 and didn’t receive til September 16. Mind you the bed arrived August 28th. I had a very bad experience with Ashley. As a disabled person I would not recommend at all. I ordered Ashley so I can receive my delivery with the white gloves service which is never available so I had to pay someone a lot more money to assemble. Foundation comes in a box as well as mattress. Not the worth the money better off buying at Amazon.”

“This was a little on the difficult side to put together. The instructions on the paper did not coincide with what was labeled on the pieces. I thought this was going to come as a regular box spring but came in a box - it’s all metal parts that have to be locked together and spread out. Once you get started, it’s not so difficult to finish. You pull the cloth cover over it once it’s assembled so it gives the appearance of a box spring.
Seems sturdy, I’ve only had it a week, but offers good support for the mattress and seems sturdy.”
