“This is much more stable than you might think on opening the box. Unfold the two sections, link them together side-by-side and you're done. It says it takes two to assemble, but I think that is overkill. I have to admit my son helped me, but neither of us thought it was necessary other than as a bonding experience. Since that bonding started in 1999 without help from a bed frame, we're good.
BTW, the two large metal plates you seen on one end of the frame are for attaching a head board. We didn't need one, so I have a bunch of fittings I can put in my garage with a bunch of other fittings. Bonus!
I would like to have seen non-sliding feet, but that's not a big deal, you can get what you need at any decent hardware store. I might take off 1/8 of a star for that glaring omission. Or maybe 1/16.”

“I am very happy with this frame. It was quick and easy to assemble without tools, perfect for my senior abilities. And true to the product description, it does not squeak. My new mattress fits perfectly on it, and the frame and mattress are easy to manuever. I don't have a headboard yet, but I do like the braces that were included in case I ever get one. I totally agree with the product description and the other consumer reviews.”
