There was no smell and it fully puffed up even in the corners which didn’t happen with other foam mattresses I have from another furniture store (mattresses that I spent more than $300 on and paid a delivery fee). I added a 2" gel infused memory foam topper and that helped. Makes the bed a little high though. I need one for another bed so I will order the 8" mattress and a 2 or 3" gel topper.”
