I purchased the beds in April 2022 and the queen size is already (has been for a while) sagging and uncomfortable after less than 3 years of use. Per my research a bed on average should last anywhere from 7-10 years before needing replaced. For this reason I am very disappointed with my purchase.”

“I purchased the Queen size Chime 12 inch mattress online and it arrived in just 2 days. There was some confusion on my end regarding delivery date since the online order (which does not show any confirmation until it is shipped) mentioned 6-8 weeks, but after contacting customer service it was clarified. The box was undamaged and the mattress is rolled up in thick double layer plastic. I let it expand for more than 24hrs before getting on it. Slight smell initially upon opening but it went away. It looks just like the picture and is plush and soft on top and very comfortable but also good support so it doesn't sink too much. At this price, you should not expect a luxury level mattress that Ashley also sells (for $1200+ that I had laid on in the showroom) , but this is very good for the price. The build quality is excellent, it does not look cheap but looks just as good as the high end ones. The only downside is that the height is not 12 inches from edge to edge (measured from the black edge seam on the bottom to the black edge seam on the top, it is probably just over 10 inches). But if you also count the height of the soft foam plush layer and measure upto the top of the "mound", it is probably somewhere between 11 and 12. I've only had it a couple of weeks and so can't say for long term durability , but will see. Overall I'd recommend if you are looking for a mattress around this price.”

Now it prob only puffed up to about 10 1/2 inches, not 12, and it is a little firmer than we were hopping for but after a couple nights it did loosen up a little and feels nearly perfect now. We are going to buy a mattress topper for extra comfort, but we have been sleeping on this just the way it is and most of the pain we used to have from our old mattress, that wasn't very old, but was a memory foam very expensive mattress is now gone! I like to sleep on my stomach and it great! Side sleeping is good too! All around a great buy and easy process! I would purchase this mattress again and suggest it to friends and family! By the way, my husband is 6 '4 and I am 5'8, we are both over 200 lbs and this bed is supper supportive and great for larger people. (one of our worries)”

Due to lack of time we could not go into stores and lay on beds, so I searched the internet and came across this mattress. It can be scarey buying a mattress on the internet without laying on it but I can say that I am extremely happy with our purchase. It is very comfortable and more on the plush side. “I was very hesitant about buying a mattress in a box, thinking there’s no way it could be comfortable. But, I took a chance based on the many positive reviews. It arrived two days earlier than expected. The box was very heavy, but I didn’t have a problem placing a towel under one end and sliding it to the bedroom. Took it out and unrolled onto my existing foundation. It expanded much faster than I thought it would. We slept on it that same night, so it sat for a good 6-7 hours. This mattress is soooo comfortable!! At first I thought it was going to be too firm, then after laying on it for a few minutes it formed to my body like sleeping on a soft but supportive cloud! We have slept on it for two weeks now and LOVE IT!!”

It looks like the center section of the mattress is higher than the head and foot sections, like all the springs aren’t fully expanded yet. I didn’t open the mattress for couple of weeks (had to wait on bed frame delivery).. so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it. Regardless, when laying on the bed it isn’t noticeable. This is in the guest bedroom but I did sleep on it to see how it felt. I would recommend this to everyone.”

“This is the third Chime 12" Queen mattress I've bought, in the past 2 years. No, I haven't worn them out! One was for my son and he took it with him when he moved out. Lol. I needed another bed for guests, so bought this one. I love my beds! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because in trying to unpack this mattress, I knicked the top fabric. I don't think it will affect the quality, but it was disappointing. The directions say not to use scissors, but I haven't found a way to unpack these yet that doesn't require a sharp object. Better instructions, a tool for opening, or a pull tag or some sort of perforation would help us lone individuals who have to unpack by ourselves. I think it's impressive a 5'4" woman can maneuver and unpack it alone, since it virtually unpacks itself once you get it started. My true rating would be 4.5 stars. Thank you for a great mattress!”

“I LOVE this mattress. I held off on writing a review for the first week because I wanted to see how I liked it, but I have seriously had the best week of sleep of my life. The mattress itself is quite heavy, but once you take it out of its package, it inflates immediately and inflated fully within about 2 minutes. I did not experience any sort of odor with the mattress so I would say that this is a hybrid, slightly on the more firm side. The edges aren't as firm as my last mattress but its not really that much of a bother. I am a side and back sleeper and I have slept like a baby. Definitely would recommend this mattress to anyone in the market for a new one!”

We have determined we will be buying a mattress topper, basically negating the money we tried to save by getting this bed, and we now need to also get new sheets to fit the topper. We both wake up not feeling rested, and more often than not, with back pain. We are in our early 30s. And more than a few times we have opted to sleep in our smaller bed in his daughter's room when she isn't here. It's not at all what we expected, I wish we had gone for a more expensive mattress that offered a decent trial period, instead of getting this one in an attempt to save money, and not move the old (5yo) mattress. I wish we'd spent the money to do either of those instead. The only reason it got two stars is because of the price and ease of set up. Legit. But not worth it. I'd return it if we had the option.”

I ordered the 12 inch mattress in a Queen Ultra Plush and it was the 12 inches as advertised. This mattress looks and feels like a much more expensive mattress. If you are getting your first apartment or house this mattress is for you. I ordered a bed frame off Amazon to pair with it. You cannot feel the springs in the bottom part of the mattress a bit. Slept on a cloud and I am very happy with my purchase. There were no lumps in the mattress after letting it puff up correctly. If you are thinking about buying this, BUY IT. “Overall, really good mattress. I have been able to sleep on it for the last couple of weeks and here are a few of my thought. This bed is for the side and stomach sleepers. It’s comfortable and can get me through a good night sleep. It doesn’t raise up to the full 12 inches, it’s more like 8/9 inches. Kind of a bummer because you’re paying for a 12 inches, but it’s still high enough. Now, I am a hot sleeper and because this mattress does have memory foam, it does tend to keep you in the warmer side (comes in handing if you live in a place with hard winters). Not a bad mattress and the price is amazing. Do let it air out for a few hours since it does have a factory smell. If you’re not sensitive to the smell, you’ll be fine. Last thing to note, this is SO easy to assemble. So worth it if you’re in the process of moving and need to have a mattress delivered and are worried about space and delivery time.”

It was an older metal frame (like the one suggested) but the mattress fell through the side when sitting on it. I had to purchase a new frame with a more solid base.”

The box was a little heavy to move by myself (88lbs) but once I got it on top of my box spring, I opened the box up and rolled the mattress out. Once you start to open the plastic, you can see and hear the bed start to expand. I let it sit for 48 hours before using it but it looked ready to use shortly after opening it. I have no complaints about this bed.”

“Love this mattress, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is it did not raise to full thickness. We waited a week to lay on it because I did not want to hender the height. I paid to have the thicker one and it did not raise up to what I paid the extra money for, so it is about 10 3/4" in. so I am glad I got the 12" one if not I would had probably flipped. But that being said, the comfort is awesome. We built a platform bed and did not require box springs. This is the best mattress for the price. It is firm but not to the point you feel you are sleeping on the floor. It does support your back, hard to explain but the pillow top makes everything come together on this purchase. Firm but comfort. Shipping was on time. As I said no complaints except for the thickness did not rise to description, and for me this was an issue due to we as I mentioned -built the bed and needed that height. But I will live with it.. the comfort makes up for this issue..”
