“This mattress was purchased for a small child and has held up very well. However I don't believe it would for an adult. The queen size of this mattress was very comfortable at first. I have 2 twin size and 1 queen size of this mattress. I purchased the beds in April 2022 and the queen size is already (has been for a while) sagging and uncomfortable after less than 3 years of use. Per my research a bed on average should last anywhere from 7-10 years before needing replaced. For this reason I am very disappointed with my purchase.”

“I discovered this mattress with a Google search using the keywords "soft" and "plush." On a whim, I ordered it. I was amazed at how quickly it was delivered to my door. But I was skeptical when I saw the size of the box it was stuffed into. However, I unpacked it and let it expand to full size. Within 24 hours, it had come to life! Pretty impressive expansion. And it was soft as advertised. I can sleep on my side without my shoulder or arm going numb. You can pretty much sleep in any position and be comfortable. That's a big deal for someone who isn't a kid anymore.”

“I purchased this mattress 2 weeks ago in a full size. I was able to try out a floor model at my local store. I have slept on it daily for the past 2 weeks (adult, 140 lbs). I was skeptical for the cost, but was not looking to spend more at this time so decided to give it a try based on the good reviews. I was pleasantly suprised. The box was small enough to easily transport in my car and carry to the second floor by myself. The mattress is vacuum sealed. Upon cutting the plastic open, it quickly reached its full size within a matter of minutes. I waited about 24 hours before using it, however a few hours likely would have been sufficient. I wouldn't necessarily describe the mattress as plush (my prior mattress which was much more expensive was more plush), however even as a "medium" softness, it is still comfortable and I have slept well every night the past few weeks. Time well tell on longevity with daily use, but so far so good. If you are on a tight budget, this is definitely worth considering!”

It’s just the right amount of plush that makes you sink in just a bit but not to the point you’re being swallowed by it. My back actually thanks me for this one. The reasoning behind my 4 stars though is because I paid extra for the 12 inch only for it to be 10 inches. I let it inflate for many nights now and at max I got 10 and half maybe for the bed. If I would have known I would have gotten the 10 inch option and saved just a bit of money for it considering it was so pricey for the 12. That’s probably the only thing that upset me the most but overall still a great mattress.”

“Surprisingly a good mattress. You never know when something comes in a box but this was for my kid and they are not picky but it is rather comfortable. I didn't measure properly and this was for a bunk bed so I should have got the 10" instead of the 12" so that the mattress wouldn't be so tall for the bunk. But it is comfy and for the price we are satisfied”

“Let me state this first: I am 64 years old and joints not so young anymore so I am picky. I was excited when I saw this Hybrid since it stated it was soft and plush. It is not either. I could feel the springs through the side and the top has maybe an inch of padding. I had to buy a mattress topper with padding just to make it bearable. I was supposed to expand to 12 inches but only made it to 10. That would be okay, if it had only been softer. I would not recommend to anyone my age, maybe a tween or teenager.”

My son sleeps pretty well on it, but he can sleep pretty much anywhere. I was considering buying a queen size for me, so tried it out a few times. I noticed that when I have slept on it, I wake up with hip, back and knee pain. Its horrible for me. So although I would recommend to others. I don't think its for people that have chronic back or any other joint issues. Although I didn't want to spend an Arm & a leg for a mattress, I may have to spend a bit more on a Wink Mattress.”

“I purchased this mattress in May 2020, opened it and allowed it to fully expand for 4 full days before using it. I measured it, and even after the extra day it still only measured at just under 10". That is a bit of a disappointed seeings as I paid for a 12" not a 10", but the mattress is still 100% comfortable, and sleeps better than anything I have had in the past, and I have no complaints over the comfort. Just wish they were true to size. It very well may have been, and maybe the shrink wrap process doesn't allow it to expand to the full 12" I have seen this as a complaint a bit through the reviews. I would still recommend this mattress!”

“I received my mattress about 6 days ago, it only took 5 days to get here after I placed the order, I've been sleeping on it all week (an entire work week) and I can honestly say I think it was money well spent. Is it the best mattress I've ever laid on? No. But for the price? It's excellent. Upon releasing it from the box and plastic it started expanding pretty fast. It took less than a day for it to fully expand, as far as I can tell. I haven't measured it to see if it's actually 12 inches or a little less. I'm not super concerned with the height of the mattress, just the quality. It's nice to look at and it sits quite a bit higher than my previous Serta mattress. My previous mattress was about 8 years old when I finally decided to invest my money into something important like a good night's sleep. That mattress was causing some serious pain for my boyfriend and I. I had been experiencing horrible pinching sensations in my lower back for about a year and the pain would occur every day when I'd be laying in bed or waking up (and I'm only in my early twenties). My boyfriend had recently started experiencing pain in his shoulder. Needless to say, we haven't been in pain once since the first night we slept on this bed. Even though this mattress isn't quite as plush as prefer I really can't complain since it's totally alleviated my pain and it's a little difficult to get out of bed in the mornings now. Lol. I plan to edit my review some time from now just to comment on the longevity of the mattress. I'm hoping it'll last me at least 3-5 years, can't ask for much else since it was only $216 after tax. I don't expect it to last as long as a higher end mattress but it may surprise me. Definitely worth the money if you're okay with not having an ultra plush or firm mattress, you're on a budget, and you don't expect it to last 5+ years.”

I have a very keen sense of smell and was preparing for the worst ... but the scent faded in a day. I prefer a firmer mattress, which can be resolved by adding a memory foam topper if needed. However, the person sleeping on this mattress (an adult) says it's the best mattress he's slept on in years. His first week sleeping on this mattress, I had to wake him multiple mornings to get to work on time -he has been sleeping that soundly. Super pleased with the comfort level of this mattress! I will never purchase a thick 'foam' only type mattress again (which is what the hybrid replaced.) Good Mattress - Terrible Smell

“The delivery was fast and we got it a day earlier than expected. We have had this mattress for four days and the chemical smell is so strong we cannot sleep on it. We did lay down on it and it feels comfortable but the smell drove us out of the room. We have had the window open for the last four days and even with the wind blowing it has not eliminated the smell. We did measure it on the third day as I realize it takes time to fully "inflate" but it is only measuring 11" when it's suppose to be a 12" mattress. We followed other reviewers suggestions on unrolling it and it worked fine - lay it on the box springs, cut the plastic off of it and help it unroll. It is easier if you have two people as it is heavy. All in all for the price, I think once the smell is gone it will be okay.”

“We wanted to update our mattress from a queen to a king. Our queen we also bought from Ashely's, in store 7 years ago( sealy with pillow top)- cost $700. We decided to give the mattress in a box a go. Price was good and reviews were as well. Ordered online, said ships within 6-10 days but was shipped two days after purchasing and I received it less than a week after ordering it. Upon opening, it already looked large but we gave 8 hours to expand. There was a little bit of a plastic smell but that wore off by night time, probably just from the plastic wrapped around it for shipping. First night sleeping on it we were SO shocked and happy with how comfortable it was. Far more comfortable than our old mattress ever was. The hybrid was a good choice as it was somewhat soft but gives support. we bought my daughter a mattress in a box on amazon last year but may be buying her a new one on here because it such good quality and a fair price. Would absolutely buy again and recommend. If we ever need a new mattress, we know where we are buying. For reference, the picture was taken upon opening, it expanded a few more inches after this( we bought the 12 inch)”

In the store it felt super plush, I couldn’t feel the springs on this 12” at ALL like I could on the 10”, and it seemed perfect. Had it at home now for a little while and I wake up every day in some sort of pain. It’s awful. The springs poke my hips and ribs, my back is constantly in pain when I wake up, and I’ve had neck pain for the first time in my life. I also want to give an additional comment on the great customer service I received as a result of UPS losing my mattress. I called customer care, spoke with a very nice woman who promptly refunded my purchase price. Afterwards, I contacted the Frisco store and purchased another mattress for pickup at a customer store/outlet in Grand Prairie within an hour of getting my refund.”

Good Balance of Soft and Firm

“I've had this mattress for about a week now, and I've been sleeping well on it. It is definitely soft, but there's also an amount of firmness. The softness comes from the 3 inches of various types of foam on top, and the firmness comes from the coils underneath. I was expecting more of the "pillow top" sort of feel from the foam layer, but it seems to be rather dense foam, so it doesn't have the same amount of give as some other "super plush" mattresses. It's a good in-between, honestly. If you love or need a super squishy mattress, this might be a bit too firm for you. Conversely, if you like or need a super firm mattress, this mattress may have a little too much give. For anyone who likes some squishiness, but still a decent amount of support, this could definitely work for you. The fabric covering of the mattress feels soft and smooth, almost like a jersey material. The seams, stitching and welting seem to be good quality and done well. The individual pocket coils around the perimeter (edge) of the mattress seem to be a bit firmer than the coils that fill most of the mattress, which gives a good amount of stability, and may potentially help discourage children from rolling over and falling out of bed. It also gives good support around the edge of the mattress for anyone who likes to sit on the edge of the bed while watching TV, playing videogames or getting dressed. Since I've only had it for a week, I can't speak for its longevity or resistance to wear, but it definitely seems like a nice product for the price (especially considering that I got it at a wonderfully reduced price during an event sale.) Mattresses can be quite expensive, even for twin sizes; this is certainly a comfortable mattress, which seems difficult to find around the $400 price point these days. I hope its quality is long-lasting, since I really do like sleeping on it. I would buy this mattress again, no doubt.”

It is a medium in firmness, not even simply medium-plush. I'm young, but have plenty of back problems and am a side-sleeper. This might end up in one of the guest bedrooms. I'm not sure it will do my back any favors to use as my nightly mattress.”

“Got the twin 12" it was wrapped up several times. Easy to unroll and put on bed with m6 son's help. Bed ggot thick very quickly. Though it said let it fluff up 24-48 hrs. I did 72 hrs by choice to b sure it was fully. Son is very happy. Comfortable. It's softness/firmness meets in the middle. Price is fair for this mattress. Purchased online. No issues.”

Terrible Customer SErvice - no pickup of Old Mattress still.. 6 weeks after opening the case #

“Don't EVERY BUY FROM ASHLEY and expect your old mattress to be taken away. Despite paying for that and what they say, the deliverer refused to because it wasn't boxed up or wrapped. Yet said I could wrap it with the plastic from the new delivery but wasn't going to wait around for me to unwrap and wrap the new one. They did haul the old one outside for me. So I then wrapped it up with the plastic, and it's now 6 weeks later and despite opening up a case # and asking that this be escalated and being reassured over and over again that I would be getting contacted and arranged for a pickup - NO ONE HAS CALLED ME. And here I am on the phone again wtih Ashley , having probably wasted 4 hours with them trying to get them to honoro what they are suppose to do. Why hasn't Case # 10664014 been taken care of ... 6 weeks later?!!”
