I did a quiz on the Casper website to see which mattress would work best for me, and they suggested the Dream Max, which was perfect for me. I sleep like a baby and no longer toss as turn. “We stayed at our friends condo and both slept longer and harder then we have before. We took a picture of the mattress and I ordered it on the way home. It took only three days to arrive. I carried it inside and unboxed and set it up myself. I am not a strong person and I’m a petite lady. We slept on it the day it came and it was great. It’s only “ settled” every day since and seems to be getting more and more comfortable. I am very happy !”

“So far sleeping on the mattress is very comfortable. Does a decent job of not being too hot and cools fairly quick. All sleeping positions seem to feel nice as I am mainly a stomach sleeper. Matress is also a bit on the taller side. Only thing I would like is if edge support were a bit firmer. But it doesn’t affect sleeping on edge just sitting.”

“This bed is amazing. I am a side sleeper and had been tossing and turning in my sleep on my previous mattress. So I hadn't been getting a full nights sleep, which has lead to me dragging throughout the next day. I have been sleeping on the Dream Max for around a week and have not woken up once in the middle of the night to roll over. The mattress conforms to every curve of my body, making it incredibly comfortable. The firmness is perfect too, not too firm but also not soft. Unboxing it was relatively easy and it inflated quickly.

“Loving my new Casper Nova Hybrid Mattress. I am a side sleeper, and I'm sensitive to getting pain in my shoulder and hips when I sleep on a mattress that is either too firm or too soft. The Nova Hybrid fits perfectly between. After a couple of nights of getting used to the new support, my body feels better, and I do not wake with the aches and pains I had from my older mattress. I would definitely recommend this to side and back sleepers. If you're used to a traditional spring mattress (even with a pillow top), you'll notice rather quickly that the Casper Hybrid helps combine the best of both worlds. The Nova has a breathable layer as well which does not make you warm during the night. I need a cool room to fall asleep easily, and this mattress does not accumulate heat like older generations of memory foam mattresses did. Definitely recommend it to those who want a comfortable night sleep and a low-profile design.”

I was so excited to unbox the mattress. There was a bit of an odor but I didn’t mind it too much. The delivery was good. Box was HEAVY. But overall a good experience with receiving the mattress. We put a mattress topper on and it is much better.”

“My hips and back have never hurt so bad until I got this mattress. At first it felt super comfortable. Great quality and well made. Tested it out at the Casper store. But after my first night sleep, I woke up in so much pain in both my hips, low back and upper back. Gave it a week and eventually opted to sleep on the couch till my 30 day trial period is over. I suffer from lumbar scoliosis and slight hip rotation. I had high hopes for this mattress but it is just too stiff. There is no way I can sleep on this for the 30 day break in period. It is too excruciating. I will be returning it.”

I have had a rather difficult time adjusting to the mattress which I have owned for about 6 weeks. I know that it has a solid build quality, but the foam feels a bit firm to me and not quite as soft as my previous pillow top mattress. I am sleeping better than I was initially, but for the price I paid and the reviews I read, I was hoping for immediate results. I know that it will now take me a couple of months to acclimate to the Max. To be fair, I typically have difficulty sleeping on any mattress that is not my own (hotels, friends, family), so this is not completely unexpected. I simply hoped for more.”

I personally don’t regret getting the model that doesn’t have cooling gel technology because this one surprisingly sleeps pretty cool. My bedroom is up in a loft so getting a bed that was pressure wrapped and easy to get up there was a must. But also came with a reasonable 100 day sleep trial and I was able to get the price adjusted several times. I highly recommend Casper as a brand and the dream as a wonderful luxury bed.”

“We were told that this would be the closest to The Wave since that is what we slept on at our son's house and fell in love. So we decided to buy one. We were disappointed to find out it wasn't made anymore. So, we bought it thinking it couldn't be too different. The Wave mattress seemed to support and "caress" the body. Don't get me wrong, this is a super comfortable mattress, and it does support. I wouldn't discourage someone from buying it. I just really wish that we hadn't slept on The Wave first. “Excellent for sore backs, shoulders and necks. We tried Beautyrest Black, Saatva, Dreamcloud, Loom & Leaf - all were firm to the point of causing pain after time on one side or the other. This is the first mattress that cushions where needed. Highly recommend. As with all mattresses that have any amount of foam, it is a bit warm. But it is absolutely tolerable where some of the others I listed were not. Hope this is helpful to someone needing a comfortable mattress. By the way, it is heavy to lift but super easy to manage once on the bed. Making the bed is not troublesome at all. Again, some of the others were really heavy even on the bed and difficult to manage.”

“We recently bought the Dream MAX mattress in king size and it has been a great purchase. We have been using it for almost 30 days now and have noticed a significant improvement in the quality of our sleep compared to our previous, cheaper memory foam mattress from Amazon. We tried out several mattresses at different stores before deciding on the Dream MAX. Luckily, there was a Casper store about 45 minutes away from us. Initially, we were considering the Wave mattress, but as soon as we lay down on the Dream MAX, we both knew it was the one for us.
I am a bigger guy, about 6' 3" and 240 pounds, while my partner is smaller, around 5' 10" and 140 pounds. Despite our different body types, we both found the Dream MAX to be extremely comfortable. I tend to find most things comfortable, but my partner is more particular, so the fact that we both felt great on this mattress was a huge selling point for us.
We were able to take the mattress home with us that day from the store, so we didn't need to worry about delivery. I set it up myself, and while it was heavy, I was able to manage. We slept on it that night, after letting it set up for about 6 hours. The smell was normal for a boxed/bagged mattress, similar to what we have experienced in the past. Initially, we were concerned because the one in the store felt more comfortable, but that worry only lasted about a week. Since then, the mattress has been just as comfortable as the one we tried out in the store.
In terms of customer service, the staff at the Casper store was awesome. We also contacted Casper's customer service number and received good care. Overall, we highly recommend getting a Casper mattress, especially the Dream MAX.”

You cannot go wrong with this mattress! With it being a hybrid, you have more stability and less sagging. After a week of sleeping on it, it has not left an indent where I sleep like most fiam mattresses do. It was so comfortable and firm. I have fibromyalgia and thus mattress was so freakin comfortable. That mattress had seen me through the wars of my 20s and needed to be put down but I never could get the courage to do so. It was a slow decline over the years, causing nagging back, hip, and neck pain. But the moment I decided to go to Casper, the soul of my old mattress left its earthly bindings, resulting in 3 very painful nights….until my new Casper mattress and frame came!
The Nova Hybrid sounds like a race car, and it performs like one too. I didn’t want something pillowy soft like a cloud. I lift weights at the gym and sit at a computer for most of my day. My body gets wreckt! I wanted FIRM, HEALING HANDS, and that’s what I got. This is an emotionally and physically supportive mattress. My lower back pain is improving every night.
I also like the low profile of the mattress and frame compared to my old bed, which I had to hoist myself onto (I’m 5’1 3/4”), and now I can fall into my bed like the 6’ 2” person I am on in the inside.
My therapist is very supportive of this change as I had to let go of a few less than satisfactory memories when my old mattress died. Watching it get hauled away was an experience and very ceremonious. Good bye my 20s and hello to my middling 30s! But I digress…..
All the Casper beds are supportive, but if you want that secure feeling of solid foundation that still feels soft (enough) for comfort, go for this mattress. Me and my dog highly recommend it, even if we’re fighting for space because I downsized from a queen to a full. “I am obsessed! I was already a Casper fan ever since I purchased the original hybrid a couple years ago. I decided to treat myself and upgrade to the nova hybrid and I know they say there is a mattress breaking in period but night one I slept so well (and it gets better each night). I love the medium soft feel and definitely feel the difference between the original hybrid and the nova hybrid. Og hybrid is still amazing and I now have it in my guest bedroom but I am so happy that I treated myself to the nova. Definitely feels slightly more cushiony and luxurious - every part of my body feels evenly distributed weight-wise and, therefore, feel so supported. So those are the pros. The con is - once you get spoiled by Casper mattresses, anytime i travel and stay at a hotel… their mattresses don’t compare and I’ll wake up sore or with back pain and immediately miss my Casper mattress. It will spoil you and your body!”

“My previous mattress was causing me extreme shoulder pain as I am a side sleeper. After doing extensive research as to which mattress is best for side sleepers, I decided with the Casper Hybrid. I held off on a review until I officially spent at least 10 continuous days trying out this product and the impact to my shoulder pain. I can now say I do not have any regrets with my purchase. I been able to get a better night sleep, I have also notice less pain in my shoulder. It is not 100% gone. I believe additional physical therapy will help with recovery. I can safely say this mattress has not ,made my shoulder pain worse, it has help relieve my pain and improved my sleep.
I would purchase again. Look forward to update review in 6 months, and 12 months.”

I have a lot of hip pain due to an injury and surgery. Every other mattress I had to have extra cushioning. I don’t need that with this one.”

“So happy I got this mattress. I have a missing disc in my lower back, and starting the first night I've been waking up with no back pain at all. Same benefit whether I sleep on my side or stomach. Makes me happy as a clam! I like having the extra cushion on this model, too; it makes side sleeping much more comfortable, with somewhere for my shoulders and hips to go, without losing a bit of support. Nothing is perfect though---it is a a hot mattress, though I've slept on worse. I'm going to experiment with different mattress covers to see if I can get any benefit from them. Despite this, I'm really content with this mattress, and recommend it. It was worth every penny.”

“Setting our bed up was a breeze. The frame and foundation went together simply and without much effort. My husband was a little skeptical at first. He couldn’t fathom that “a bed in a box” was all it was cracked up to be. It took a couple of nights for him to adjust to it but now he (and I) absolutely love it. I don’t feel him move (he’s 260# and I’m 150#). We both sleep so soundly and comfortable all night long. Waking up without body aches or stiffness is the best. The reason I didn't return it was the hope that I would eventually feel a difference in the level of softness. I'm waking up sore with numbness in my hands and arms because when I sleep on my side it doesn't have any give which causes me to have terrible sleep. I woke up at 5:40 am today (Saturday- day off) because of said discomfort and numbness. I would like for someone to please reach out to me to see what if anything can be done.”
