“After about 1 month, I am very happy with my new Casper The One. I decided my old pillow top mattress was too soft and not the best mattress for me, after I tried firmer mattresses at hotels and Air BnBs. I also researched mattresses on Consumer reports, read many reviews and blogs, and asked friends for input. I feel I made a good choice for me. The One is the perfect firmness, soft enough but also supportive. I get better sleep and I believe my spine alignment is great on The One. Love it.
The One is not what I would call a "hot" mattress; however, I have noticed I want less of my blankets on The One. So I guess it's a little warmer than my old traditional spring mattress. But I am totally fine with this very small increase in heat.
My only minor complaint is the off gassing. It was strong for about 2 or 3 days. Then it was moderate for about 10 days. Even a month later, I still smell the off gassing, just a little when I first lay on the mattress, but it goes away quickly. With the decrease, I assume it will be completely gone in a few more weeks. Again, the off gassing is minor. Might bother others more.”

“I bought this mattress as a king for myself and two twin mattresses for my kids about 8 years ago, and now that my kids have their own bedrooms, I bought two full size mattresses for them. Still the same great quality, and just the right support without being too firm. We do like putting a pillow-topper on the mattresses to give them some more surface cush. Lots of polyfill options on Amazon for about $50, then after a couple of years I get new ones. Really preserves the mattresses, and makes them feel like supportive clouds. I’m a Casper customer for life now!”

But the mattress becomes more and more firm over 30-60 days and it no longer was comfortable to sleep on my side after a month. I'd toss and turn and have hip pain and back pain. I've never had hip or back pain before this mattress. It's also warm, much warmer against you than a spring mattress. I'm currently considering getting rid of it or paying more (which I'm not pleased about) and getting a pad on top for cooling and cushion. Out of the box it's great, but over time it becomes so firm that it reminds me of camping when I sleep on a thin pad on the ground.”

My second Casper, and it's

“My second Casper, and it's even better than the first. I bought my original "the one" over a decade ago, and while it was the most comfortable bed ever, there were issues. First, when I originally unboxed it, the chemical smell was so bad that I had to close the bedroom off that it was in, with a window open, and not use it for three days. The new version of "the one", not an issue. I slept on it the same night that I unboxed it, and while there was a very faint "foam" odor, it was not that strong, and had no impact. Secondly, the old "the one" apparently had fiberglass as part of the internal cover as a fireproofing agent. The fiberglass was enclosed in the external cover, and never escaped, but it meant that you couldn't replace the mattress cover if it got stained etc. . . The new "the one" apparently does not have this issue, and the fireproofing agent has been replaced with something else.
All of that being said, this is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. I move around a lot, and regardless of position, it's comfortable. It's weirdly supportive while being yielding at the same time. Sleep on your side? Your shoulder will sink in enough that you're not uncomfortable when you wake up. Sleep on your back, excellent support, no waking up sore. In fact, the reason I got a casper in the first place was to replace a not so old spring mattress that was definitely not the right kind of support for my back. I simply got tired of waking up sore and painful. No problems since I moved over to Casper. Customer for life here.”

I was not pleased with it which is why I returned both still in boxes. My bank is still working on getting the double amount charged to my card credited. Once that is done I am planning to go for the better one my nephew has and loves. Queen Hybrid. I recieved 2 mattresses on the same day. Wells Fargo is involved with my dispute. The folks Casper contract with are completely incompetent and quite rude. After more than 6 weeks my purchase finally arrived. They placed the boxes in my room and then just left. No installation, no unpacking, no removing all the trash, not even have a nice day we’re leaving. Luckily, it’s a piece of cake to put together (I did it by myself). The hardest part is getting the plastic off the mattress. Save yourself the hassle and $$ and have it delivered to your house.”

I spoke with one of the representatives at Casper before the sale and they were helpful in telling me that, if for any reason it didn't work, it could be returned, no questions asked.
Well, sadly, it didn't work for my friend and within two days the mattress was picked up and delivered back to Casper. The process was seamless, the representative could not have been more helpful and gracious with my return and now I am just awaiting my refund.
I have no doubt I will be refunded so I am not worried in the least. My point is that anyone that has second thoughts about making a purchase from Casper should not give it a second thought. I found that they were true to their word and will certainly be making future purchases from them!”

“After giving away a very expensive foam mattress because of its high temperature retention, we went through 2 mattresses before we found Casper One. This mattress is firm enough for me and my wife. We both feel very comfortable in it and have had best sleep of my last 5 years.
The very first hour when we opened it, it looked very wobbly; however, just 3 hours later, it became as firm as what I tried at the store. I'm very happy with it because I was very conscious about the old mattress temperature and it was hot during the night; now, I can tell the difference and my Casper One is very cool throughout the night.”

“This full-size Casper One meets our guest room needs perfectly. We purchased a foundation also, and both were easy to set up. The mattress is kind of heavy if you are hauling it upstairs (in our case, a finished attic, so two sets of stairs.) If we purchase another, larger mattress in the future, we will definitely need help with it. As for odor, it dissipated after a few days. Leave the mattress uncovered in a room with some ventilation and the smell goes away. I wouldn't sleep on the mattress the first night, however. It does need a little time to air out. I am sure our guests will find the mattress very comfortable.”

It was the original model and we got it so I could sleep comfortably through my pregnancy. Boy did that deliver a soundly sleepy pregnancy. When we bought a house, we wanted to upgrade our bed to a king size. A friend of ours had this temperpedic mattress that was brand new $6000. (We paid $500) o was skeptical because the mattress was “firm” and I like a softer landing. I absolutely hated that mattress and we tried it for a year. My husband wanted to give it a try and we loved that mattress for years. When it finally started wearing down after about 7 or 8 years, Casper sent us a free replacement. It was called The Original, but was not at all like the true original. Since then I've tried sect mattresses from several brands and continued to wake up with back aches. Finally, a few years later, lo and behold, the One mattress is introduced . It's so similar to the one we bought way back in the beginning. Everything shipped perfectly and was super easy to unpack. The king mattress can be heavy to carry for one person but with two people, we were able to do it. I believe they even offer white glove service and setup however, we did not opt for this. The pillows were the foam ones and are super comfy. Have had no issues with the bed after sleeping on it for 60+ days now.”

So we slept on this brand new mattress with no support on the sides, we actually fell out of bed multiple times, as the supposed edge support mattress wasn't supported! We slept horribly for 2 months until I threw my hands in the air and said ENOUGH. I bought the Casper because of the refund policy. Wow!! We are thrilled! And my 13yr old little pit sleeps soundly without snoring or moving during the night. (Don't come at us, she is more important than you to me)

“My wife and I have ordered the Nectar, we returned it, it sank in too much and we were falling into each other. Also way too high up. We ordered the Purple, we returned it, it was way too hard, took forever to warm up in, also too short, not thick enough. Then lastly, we ordered the Casper One, we are keeping it! Yes it is the most expensive of the 3 BUT only by a couple hundred and it is worth the extra money. And worth not having the hassle of returning the other mattresses and have them picked up. This mattress is the perfect height. Perfect combination between supportive and comfortable!!! Just order it.”

“The mattress came packaged very nicely and as soon as you let it out of the vacuum sealed bag, it pops right into place (so no waiting 24-48 hours). There is a faint smell of new mattress but that’s to be expected and not as bad as some others I’ve had. I will say this specific mattress (one mattress) is VERY firm. If you are side sleeper, this might not be for you. I personally will need a mattress topper to soften it up but I can’t deduct stars for that since it’s personal preference. Quality is extremely nice and is very well made. I’m very impressed.”

The Casper one is a nice firm bed it is also soft and I love how the top part of the mattress feels it's very soft I'm not going to lie . I'm a bit jealous because the Casper mattress is better than mine . But I'm so happy my son says he sleeps better and falls asleep faster. I have taken a nap or two or three 😂 on it myself .

“I purchased 2 Casper beds years back from store in Florida. They were fine. I purchased another from that same store in Florida to be delivered to Maryland & arrive on June 13th. The entire delivery was a nightmare & my vacation was wrecked due to the fact it was a botched delivery by RXO delivery which I had to handle myself. I needed the bed on June 13th & a week later got it. The store in FL didn’t help with anything so my vacation consisted of hours each day trying to to get someone to get it delivered. I had purchased white glove delivery when I purchased the bed & it took days for me to even “prove that”.”
