So they are fluffy (like a cloud) but after sleeping on it for a night my neck was hurting so bad the next day. I tried the pillow for a whole week just to make sure it wasn't something that I was doing. By the end of the week I had a pitched nerve and couldn't move my neck. Now I just use the pillow to prop myself up while I'm watching tv. I would never use that for my neck/head. When I called customer service they said that it's the least popular pillow of theirs and that's why they give it away for free, yikes!”

It took a night or two to get used to the Purple pillow because it's so different from any other pillow I've slept on. But I've come to absolutely love it. I sleep through the night and wake up rested - even when one of our 3 little kids wakes me up! My husband has been getting headaches at night and wanted to look for a new pillow for him as well. He likes firm pillows so he was sure he wouldn't like my pillow. Fast forward, I went out of town for a night and came home to one pillow on our bed... mine. We've now been sleeping for 2 weeks, sharing my king-size purple pillow. So we're now on this site, buying a 2nd pillow so I don't have to share anymore, lol. I've bleached them for jesus and they won't come out. It's $60 down the drain basically, but if we're paying this much for quality pillows, I expect tougher stains to be able to come out. If that's not the case, Purple should make some kind of washing solution/detergent we can purchase or an added warranty on the pillows, just like the mattresses.”

I've been using Buffy pillows for a couple years, and I have to replace them every few months because they get lumpy, and if you don't fluff them in the dryer they are flat and lumpy. Since I have a purple mattress and soft stretch purple sheets I decided to try their cloud pillow. My husband bought me one for mother's day and I am blown away! It's so comfortable and it doesn't get flat like the Buffy cloud pillow! The only downside is that I use Slip silk envelope pillowcases and the Purple cloud pillow is not as long as regular queen pillows, so it's about 6 inches to small. That's okay because I don't have to constantly fluff it and the material inside stays put all night long. I will definitely be purchasing one for my son.”

“The fluffiness is ok but it advertises as it mimics down pillows. I can’t compare it to my down pillow. I also ordered 2 standard sized and 2 king sized pillows. I ordered them to be “flatter” of the two options. They don’t flatten out well and I’ve actually been having neck/back pain since I’ve been using it. I prefer my cheaper pillows. I’m contemplating returning them. For some reason the standard ones flatten a little better than the kings… maybe I need to wear them in more? Not sure. I’m not totally giving up yet”

I've tried round pillows, thick rectangle pillows and none of them were any good, at least not for me. This purple pillow is by far the best pillow I have owned since childhood. Too thick for me.

“This pillow is alright: It is very heavy to carry or flip over or change your pillow case. This pillow is somewhat soft after using it for a while, but this pillow gives you localized pain / soreness in your shoulders if you're a side sleeper or your upper back near the shoulders if you're a back sleeper. When the localized pain / soreness occurs in your shoulders it can feel like you received a vaccine the day before and can even make your shoulders hurt when you press on your shoulders. After a while the pillow makes your shoulders and upper back feel very tender and painful when they get pressed on. The loft on this pillow is also a bit high as well and the more that you sleep with the pillow the longer that it takes for your shoulders to calm down and stop hurting. This pillow is somewhat soft, but it is not cloud like and it is an ok pillow to use if you can handle the localized pain / soreness that it tends to give you. I have never had any type of shoulder pain / soreness before until I started using this pillow. I'll keep the pillow, but I'm looking for a new pillow or I would possibly want to try the purple harmony pillow or the purple harmony anywhere pillow. The price of the purple harmony pillows and the purple harmony anywhere pillows are quite high though. And when you order from this website there's a chance that you'll get charged twice for the order even if you only hit the place order button one time, but the second charge does go away after a little, and the customer service is good as well”
