“I bought this because it was by far the most affordable option for my new Purple Mattress and my existing bed platform didn't provide the support needed for the Purple Mattress because the slats were too far apart. It was super easy to put together and feels very sturdy and supportive. I just wish I could have chosen one a little shorter because I prefer a bed lower to the ground.”

“Bought this with my purple queen mattress but after 5 years and very painful shoulder and hips I decided that the Mattress and bed frame are just to firm for me. Decided to use my old bed frame and box spring along with my purple Mattress and the firmness is gone even though I'm told they won't warrant the mattress but this is what I had to do to use my purple mattress. Bought a mattress topper to use with my old mattress and the purple bed frame.”

Squeakiest bed frame ever

“The frame is good, but omg it squeaks like crazy. I have tightened everything multiple times, shimmed it, lubed it, and nothing works for long. It squeaks REALLY loud. Like you can hear it downstairs when someone even moves in the bed upstairs. So I’m looking for a different frame, and super hesitant to get another from purple. I have three purple mattresses, BTW- and I love them.

Bad bed frame

“I paid 200 for a bedframe and a metal bar snapped apart after ~under 2 years. Warranty is only good for 1 year. The king size bed is too heavy to move by myself, so until I get help to move my bed and disassemble it, I find myself stuck on a broken bed frame.”

“Never received the proper-size plastic safety brackets that fit around certain parts of the bedframe, although I did contact Purple a couple of times. They always sent (faulty) parts that don't fit the frame. So far it's still holding up & I see that Purple no longer sells the older version of the frame, thank goodness.”

“I got this because my partner couldn't sleep on my purple mattress and it's only 6 years out of 10 and I had the mattress on a wooden platform and apparently it was caused the bed to be "to firm" so I got this platform to hope be my hope and it wasn't.”
