Every morning we had to retuck the extra material underneath the mattress to make it smooth again just to do it again and again. Not with the Purple stretch sheets. Not Durable

“I was so excited to buy these. We love our mattress so much, but sheets always slip off the corners. We were ecstatic when these stayed on completely! However, they stained really easily, and they ripped easily. We've had them less than 14 months and they have a ton of little holes and the fitted sheet and pillow cases (which we use consistently) are completely different colors from the flat sheet (which we never use). The sheets now look old and dingy and dirty even though we wash them regularly. We wash them by themselves, so we know it's not color bleed. We still use them because we haven't found other sheets that stay on the mattress as well, but we are super disappointed in something deteriorating this quickly at this price point.”

The sheets went onto the bed and I was able to get up and simply pull up the top sheet and cover and WALK AWAY. The bottom sheet was perfect and flawless, still hugging the mattress. The sheets are comfy and soft and plenty large enough that my husband and I don't have to fight over the top sheet. Moreover, the sheets wash like a dream! “I needed a mattress. My bed came with a "mattress" but it really was only a four inch slab of foam rubber in a plastic cover. The cover disintegrated within weeks and the foam did what foam does. It flattened to less than two inches. My body was displeased. I'd read about PURPLE and determined it was too grand and too dear for an old woman on a fixed income. But with the interest free payment plan, I took the daring plunge. Still "too good to be true" rang through my nightmares. Meanwhile I noticed a deal on children's PURPLE sheets and bought a pink and a blue. Then I saw on the same website PURPLE pillows. Clearly these were priced for me specifically, for I did buy them. There is no other mattress or sheets for me. The pillows aren't quite as noteworthy in performance, but they are adequate, even nicer than any other ones I've had. I have methodically re-Homed all other sheet sets and use only these lovely stretchy and generous sheet sets. In fact I continually scan for desks since I love them so. Reality dictates, however, that nothing lasts forever, so by the time these are finished for good, I intend to have new ones on deck!”

Within six months of moderate use, I own multiple sets of sheets because I sleep hot, the sheets had already started to pill badly. On top of that, they are very easy to tear, and once a slight hole, say from my cat's claws, they just started to fall apart. The quality is very poor compared to cheap sheets you can get at BBB or Target. Not worth the money I spent.”

“We bought our Purple Mattress and all its accessories available back in February 2020. Since then we've gone through three sets of these Soft Stretch sheets with all of them eventually developing sizable holes. The first two both got holey within their year warranty so they were easily replaced, but I babied this last set with how carefully I washed and dried it so it has lasted two years. Now it's developing the same holes but we're outside the warranty, and I see that the price has increased by $75 from when we first bought them ($114 at the time). For the comfort these sheets are incredible, and if they lasted even just five years they'd be worth it. But for the quality and lifespan these are way too expensive to be worth it. We've switched to a regular sheet set and there's honestly little difference, and although it's slightly less comfortable it's worth it for nearly 1/10 the price.”

Just after one wash, the color was lost and it faded. It does not even feel good to the skin. I wanted to return it. But guess what? The associate told me that the I have to pay for the shipping and after they receive it, if they feel they can’t accept the product, they will not issue a refund and moreover, I have to pay for shipping again to get it shipped back to me. “For the comfort of these sheets, I’d give them a 4… this is the second set of these sheets we’ve had and we LOVE them for the comfort with the mattress. They’re definitely a match made in heaven for the function of the purple mattress. However, the color is a HUGE disappointment. I was hoping for a cream color (natural oat, yay!!!) set of sheets, and instead got GRAY (blu-ish gray to make it worse). Wish I had read others’ reviews before going for it. At least if I was going to get gray, I may have gone with the darker shade. Seriously a disappointment. For spending $150 (on sale!!), I wish I was happier with the color that I have to look at every day. The other thing is our other set got a hole fairly quickly and it eventually totally gave up sooner than maybe I had hoped (but I think that’s also part of them being thinner/stretchier sheets than normal). I figured my hip and back issues were just me getting older but I decided to try to give Purple a go anyway (only because of the return policy). I kept the old mattress just in case but after two solid weeks of waking up with no pain at all, that mattress went to the dump. I have two purple pillows and I can’t imagine having anything else (my daily headaches and neck pain resolves as well). A few weeks ago I had a guest who slept in the bed when I was out of town. When I got back she asked me what kind of bed it was. I have literally been telling everybody I know to get one of these mattresses. I can’t say enough great things and it was well worth the money.”

“They're expensive, but they are simply the best. They fit over the thickest mattress in my house, including a three inch mattress topper. And hey lock under the mattress with their plastic that goes all the way around. Never pops off. They're stretchy but not clingy, they don't make me hot. My only complaint is that you have to be a little gentle. I was washing in hot water and soaking with OxyClean, and they got thin and ripped. Now I only use warm water and don't soak them every time.”
