“My Bedgear Night pillow, purchased in 2018, had resolved my neck problems for 3 years, but the edges are now less supportive than when the pillow was new. I began experiencing occasional neck pain indicating it was time to buy a new pillow. I ordered a Solar 3.0 pillow. It is slightly squishier and a different shape than the Night pillow, but it seems to be a good fit for me so far, and I am adapting to it. The quality of the Bedgear pillows greatly exceeds the quality of other “premium” brands [Tempur-Pedic].”

I was disappointed that they started to lose the foam within a year to 18 months. For the price, I'd like them to last a bit longer. “When I first got the pillow, I put it in the included free pillow case. The pillow was comfortable, but would get burning hot. The case was the problem; the pillow itself is cool and soft. It doesn't hold shape as well as I'd like; it smooshes down and I have to flip it or refluff it. Also, as nice as the material feels, it is very slippery. The pillow is constantly sliding away from me and even a case doesn't help because it slips out of the case in moments. It would also definitely be an improvement if both sides were curved.”

“I purchased this pillow for my side-sleeping husband, an athletic 6'2 235lbs, with broad shoulders. He sweats the bed and longs for the cool side of the pillow. I thought this Solar pillow would be an answered prayer; alas, it is half of what I had hoped. It actually radiates body heat back toward the sleeper. His pillow was hotter than my heating pad. Yikes! On the positive side, the thickness and size of the pillow are perfect. So if you're on the fence (Is this pillow going to be too thick?) , rest assured that its perfect for someone of my husband's size. If I had known about the poor performance of the Solar technology, I could have saved a huge chunk of change, and just gone with a firm, large pillow.”

“So far, I'm not impressed with the pillows. They are very expensive, so I have high expectations. I have purchased and tried two Bedgear representative-recommended pillows, and neither is satisfactory. The Solar 2.0 is very heavy and somewhat stiff. I find myself flipping and readjusting the pillow several times before falling asleep. The contoured shape, which was recommended by a Bedgear representative for side-sleepers, is not desirable. It makes it so the pillow sinks in too much at the center of the arch. I find that this pillow begins the night as firm and pretty close to the right height for me, but then by the time you wake up, it has sunken quite a bit. This pillow is only slightly better than a $50.00 pillow I bought at a local department store. At $229.00 per pillow, the value of the pillow does not meet the price. Still searching for my perfect pillow.”

I'm 6'0 with broad shoulders and an exclusive side sleeper, and I've been waking up with neck strains and feeling like my face is being mushed against the pillow. It also doesn't stay as cold as it claims to. I don't even run that hot and within 10 minutes it gets a little warm. It's a high quality product overall, I just think it's not the right fit for me and since there are no refunds, I am stuck being unhappy.”

“Let me start by saying I sell Bedgear products at the store I work at. I own multiple products and I am VERY satisfied. This was the last purchase I made. AMAZING pillow. If you’re new to the Vertex technology, it PULLS heat from your head and the heat ESCAPES through the Air-X panels you see on the side of the pillow. I also sleep on the Dri Tech Sheets and the Vertex mattress protector. If you are a HOT sleeper this pillow is the way to go. It IS cool to the touch and nothing activates it better than coupling it with the Dri Tech Sheets. They themselves have 100x more air flow than traditional sheets!!! So in a nutshell, extracts heat, heat escapes through side of pillow, and it’s cool to the touch. There IS no better pillow on the market (except maybe their storm series pillows :-)”

My husband and I found a perfect tempurpedic mattress for us, but I just couldn’t seem to get comfortably with the tempurpedic pillows given to us. I even went out and bought the other top rated tempurpedic pillows and cloud pillows, no real success. Just whole lot of switching pillows in the middle of the night and being uncomfortable; until now!
