It Covers Your Mattress. That's about it...

“We were given the hard sell to buy this so-called cooling waterproof mattress protector. Was told it would double the warranty of our new mattress. After putting it on I was in it for about 3 hours when I woke up in a pool of sweat. I know what it feels like to sleep on a plastic waterproof mattress protector, as years ago I had prostate surgery and had to use one temporarily as a precaution. This feels just like that. I couldn't get it off our bed fast enough. Middle of the night, and there I am changing it out. Aside from it having the texture of chain mail, it made the bed so stiff it took away any cush the foam mattress top provided. I believe the sample the salesman had us feel had most likely been through the wash machine a hundred times or so, because it was waaaay softer. So next morning I got curious. I poured a half cup of water on the cover. It makes a great sifter because the water went right through it. Total lies on the packaging. It neither cools or protects. Maybe that's why they spell dry, dri. The word dry suggests exactly that. Dri, on the other hand isn't even a word. Don't waste your money.”

“This product is not waterproof!!! Listing says it is waterproof, packaging says it is waterproof. New $5k mattress completely stained! I use sunless tanner. Had a cheap waterproof mattress cover on my old queen bed and never had this problem. Bought a good high quality mattress and thought better get a good quality mattress cover. Nope. If you're looking for actually waterproof cover this is not the one for you!”

When I bought the mattress the furniture store said this mattress pad would guarantee replacement of the mattress if the mattress was not fully protected. Well that's not true. Bedgear only offered to replace the mattress pad. I am still treating the mattress for urine oder. I will go buy a inexpensive WATERPROOF mattress cover. What a ripoff!”
