“My two Laurentia table lamps, being used as bedside lamps, are very attractive and just right for my needs. They also feel sturdy to me. I am very pleased with the purchase, especially at the great price. They do require just a little more assembly than I anticipated, and the styrofoam packing easily breaks apart into hundreds of highly static charged little balls and clumps, but once that was all deslt with, I am very pleased with the lamps themselves.”

“I have had these lamps for a few years.
I like the way they look but unfortunately they are getting mold or fungus inside the glass.
There is no way to open the glass to clean it.
Since this is the only review that mentions this problem yes I would recommend.”

“We ordered two. A day after assembly, a crack appeared in the glass and a fragment flew out. Customer service replaced the broken one, but shortly thereafter a larger crack appeared in the second lamp. That one has not broken out yet, but customer service has not responded either.”

“The top of the lamp ( socket where you screw in light bulb) is detached and cord hangs down on the side of the lamp. You must pull / thread the cord through the glass base in order to attach socket. In trying to do this the glass base broke. Ashley refuses to replace it.”

“The lamp looks exactly a pictures, so beautiful. I love the jute looking shade. However, having to assembly the lamp base is outrageous. It appears broken as the glass separates from the base. Considering returning otherwise I have to super glue it together which isn’t a great look for glass.”
