This desk is not only beautiful but the lift top allows me to convert to standing. Paired with a new walking pad, I’m ready to get moving while on the job. Assembly wasn’t as bad as some of the reviews say. My husband did say two of the bolts to attach the return didn’t line up, but he said they weren’t even necessary to attach securely. So happy with this purchase!”

“While I love the look of the Realyn Lift desk, I am greatly disappointed with the lift feature. If you have anything on it, the lift is difficult and awkward to use. I have used other brand before and they can handle the weight of a monitor and two speakers. Whereas this desk will get stuck when you lift it and fall down on you if not pulled completely forward. I would not recommend this desk. Just get the regular one and save some $$”

“4 1/2 stars. I was looking for a solid, elegant-looking lift-top desk for my home office and the Realyn Home Office Lift Top Desk fills the bill, for the most part. The desk arrived three months after I put in my order. It was fairly straightforward to put together (thankfully, the lift-top is already installed) - just screw in the legs. I did need the assistance of my roommate to lift it out of the box and move upright. The desk is heavier than expected (solid: good). I love the look and idea of the desk. The only reason I don't give it a five-star rating is that I'm only able to lift the top if I remove most of the items off the lid, due to the weight of my monitor; then there is the matter of my computer cords, potentially getting caught when I put the lid down (which is fairly heavy and somewhat worrisome if it will collapse); however, that's really not the fault of the desk - if I didn't have my monitor and used my laptop, only, then it would be more manageable. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably save $100 and purchase the non-lift top version with the pullout, keyboard tray (and use it for extra storage). I also find the height of the desk a bit tall for me when standing (I'm 5 foot 2). Other than that, it's an aesthetically-pleasing, substantial, high-quality desk.”

Honestly, I think the faux finish is quite ugly — I simply bought this because convertible desks were rather limited during the pandemic. I am 5’4” and find the desk is too tall when I'm sitting at it, making it impossible to achieve a proper ergonomic height/angle when typing. The desk top lifting mechanism is nice; easy to engage.”

It cant be seen when the list top is not up. My drawer also does not pull out smoothly. Too much of a hassle to take apart and no one notices who isn't sitting at the desk.”

“I wanted to love the desk, however, there are some issues. 1. The prefab bed pieces are not level and it’s very noticeable that the side panels droop. 2. Good luck using the standing function because it’s not on a hydronic lift. And when you go to put it down it just slams down if you’re not careful. 3. It doesn’t have a keyboard opening as was advertised. I love the colors and the wood finish but not enough to outweigh the cons.”
