“DO NOT BUY THIS DESK! It looks great but it's made with very cheap materials. The front of the keyboard drawer fell off twice before they replaced it with actual wood. Now, the joint holding the two pieces of desk together ripped apart because it's not wood, it's a pressed wood pulp. This desk has caused nothing but problems due to the cheap quality. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else.”

“I saw this desk in the Ashley Store and liked it right away. It’s beautiful and solid. It’s very easy to put together. The instructions were simple and it took more time to clean up than it did to put it together. The desktop was already assembled so you just have to attach the legs and drawer handles. I like that it has a good feel to it. The store price was over $700. I bought a loveseat from the store on the 16th but I won’t get it until the 1st of next month because they only deliver to my area on the first and 15th of the month!! But when I found the same exact desk online it was just over $500 plus free shipping and I received it in less than a week! I’m still waiting for my loveseat and I have 10 more days to go before I can get it. I’m going to start ordering from the Ashley App but on some of their items are not available to add to the cart for purchase. I didn’t buy the warranty for my furniture because I’ve had bad experience with Ashley’s paid warranty.”

“I paid to have it installed but the entire desk comes in one piece the only thing you have to install is the three piece leg sections in the drawer handles. I could’ve easily done that so I wasted $125. But the desk is beautiful very spacious specially if you like to use two and three monitors. The two side drawers are very large deep there’s no plug-ins though. Which I don’t mind the space in the front to put your knickknacks is also an extra plus.”

“The quality & aesthetics of the desk are not the issue. It is the height of the desk that is part of the issue. Is doesnt matter what height your chair is at either your feet dangle or your elbow is on the edge of the desk cutting off your circulation. Further, you cannot use this with a desk chair that has arms as it bites into the drawers as every chair I looked at is too wide to fit. Further when are able to pull the armless chair close enough so your elbow does not fall off the desk the drawer handle bites into your stomach. I am of average height & weight and only really bought it because of the display ledge in the front as it sits in the middle of the room. Im 5'7" and my husband is 6'2" and has the same issues that I have with this desk. Move on & find a lower height desk - look at the specs this desk is the tallest of any & you wouldn't think an inch or two would make such a big difference.”

“My wife and I purchased two of these desks. She likes hers and does lite computer work on it. I do extensive computer work, from editing to playing games. I find the desk is way too high at 32.5 inches. If I was just using if for typing or writing it would be fine, but anything that requires extensive mouse movements, you're going to get annoyed. Also the height of the desk and the lowness of the middle drawer is another issue. I removed the drawer and no longer bang my knees on it. Basically, if you like how it looks and can sit up straight while you type or write, it would do great. If you plan on using it for extended times, the height will probably annoy you.”

The finish is smooth (it looks a bit rough in some of the pics online) and the wood stain is a bit lighter than pictured as well but still a very nice medium dark chestnut color. The drawers slide very easily and are well-built. Overall very happy with the purchase, especially the value. It's similar to desks viewed on West Elm and Crate and Barrel's web site, but for considerably less!”

“I keep bashing my knee into the inside corners of the drawers and they are sharp! The drawer that you will rest your arms on should have been rounded -- It's also rather sharp as well. Also, the main body of this thing (that comes preassembled) weighs a TON even after you take the drawers out. Have fun moving this monstrosity! I liked that this desk has a lot of space and it has railings to keep stuff from falling over. It also looks nice. I wish I could have found one in person before buying this online. I suggest buying some other standalone table only. Then buy a set, or two sets of drawers separately to keep under each side of the table. One of the hardware hex screws was unusable. I ordered a replacement from Ashley and still have not received the replacement screw.”

“I am currently unhappy. It came damaged and I spoke with Ashley customer service last week. They did follow up with an email requesting photos of the damage but I have not heard back from the company yet. Not only was it damaged but there are parts of it that were poorly constructed. They wanted me to put it back in the box so that Fed Ex could come pick it up, but anyone that has unboxed something like this knows that the box was not usable after we removed the desk. It is pretty large. I hope to be happy with this purchase at some point in the future if Ashely follows through.”
