Beautiful cabinets, timely shipped, only very small issues.

“The cabinets are beautiful and they were packaged for shipping very well. I loved that the hardware was prepackaged and sealed on one cardboard page with each set of hardware labeled and not just put into several small zip bags. It made putting the cabinets together much easier, less confusing, and faster. The cabinets were also shipped on time and arrived on time within 2days. Bravo!!
There were a couple of issues. There were two place on two different cabinets where the wood was cracked a bit. One is purely cosmetic and won’t be seen since bought 4 and butted them up together. One crack is on the bottom where the legs are attached to the levels. Also it should be noted in the instructions that the bolts that require the Allen wrench should only be tightened just past finger tight so not to strip the bolt.
The pre-drilling made it easy enough that I could have put the cabinets together by myself and my husband was able to correct when I over tightened the bolts. Overall we are very satisfied.”

Regretful purchase but too cumbersome to return

“It arrived well-packaged, like in so many pieces of styrofoam it is amazing there was room left for the bookcase. Seriously, this is an environmental nightmare and will take at least 30 minutes just to unpackage and then you need to figure out how to dispose of all the styrofoam. Assembly took 2.5 to 3 hours and you will want a helper when you try to hang the doors. In spite of all the styrofoam, some pieces managed to be dinged upon arrival in an area that could have only happened prior to packaging. It was all cosmetic, so we will live with it. The unit is made from cheap particle board, and I don't think the drawers will withstand heavy use because of the very thin particle board that supports the drawer screws. The drawer gliders also don't work smoothly, so you have to force some of the drawers to close. The flimsy back brace where you put the two screws to connect the hutch to the bottom is not very secure - like this thing is being held together on a hope and a prayer. The back panel of the hutch is two pieces connected together with white duct tape, with a very visible seam running down the middle - not a clean look if you plan to have open display space. There is also no mention about the built-in wine rack (which we have no use for since we bought this for a bookcase), and removing the racks leaves lots of unsightly holes in the top of the unit. I feel bad leaving a bad review because I should have known for the price that the quality would be poor, but at this price point, I think I could have done much better with an IKEA bookcase. Otherwise, the size and configuration was perfect, and I got it on sale for a steal, so I will use it until it breaks and then buy something made from real wood.”
