Wonderful sturdy desk with lots of space!

“Took about 2.5 hours from start to finish to put the desk together. Great video to accompany the printed directions. All parts were there, nothing missing. The desk put together is solid/sturdy. The expresso color is more black than brown, but that's what I was looking for. There is a lot of storage in this desk having 2 drawers, a cubby section and 2 shelf areas. I am not using this for a computer desk, but rather for an art desk!”

“The unit came in two boxes so it was easy to carry into the house and into the office. There was TONS of tape so that took a while to cut through. All the parts were correctly numbered so it was easy to do an inventory upon unboxing. I was happy to see that the dowels/pegs were already inserted where they belonged and the locking bolts (probably not the correct name) were already in the holes in the wood. A few of them fell out and were loose in the box but I found them all.
As for the assembly, if you have ever assembled anything from IKEA then you can assemble this. The way it was put together made it more sturdy than items from IKEA. All total it took about 3.5 hours but I was taking my time and making sure I had all the correct pieces and that they were oriented correctly. I did not have to go back and undo anything or correct anything.
There was only one place where I needed assistance and that was when I had to align the desk top piece. It was a bit heavy and I lost sight of the holes so I had my wife look from another angle and line up the holes.
The drawers slide in an out pretty well and the keyboard drawer is attached very securely. Some keyboard drawers I would be afraid to place any weight from my hands on it for fear that it would come undone.”

“I loved it, Its sleek & Stylish. The only reason I gave it 4 stars its because I called and asked if the draws were big enough to be used as a file and they said yes. Well, no way these draws are too small for that. So, I was not very happy about that but other wise its graet.”
