Nice Desk for the Money

“It was relatively easy to assemble. The length and height are both good. It fits nicely in a smaller area as my spare bedroom doubles as my office. Plenty of room under the desk for my knees as I'm 5'9". The desktop has 2 monitors and a laptop for my job. The keyboard tray has plenty of room for the keyboard and mouse with a mouse pad. It is stable and doesn't wobble.”

“I bought this because I was upgrading the small office area in my home. The desk not too small and makes efficient use of space. I especially like the file drawer with the hanging folders - great for organizatrion and quick reference. My only complaint is that the leg area between the cabinets is a little narrow.”

“The desk is quite sturdy and looks great. Just the4 size I needed for a small space. Despite the great construction, I found the packing materials terrible. There were shards of styrofoam everywhere after opening. Some of the assembly instructions could be clarified with better instructions of top/bottom and left/right for some pieces/. On the other hand, it was really great that the manufacturer provide a bag of “spare parts” for the inevitable lost fastener or misplaced connector. A very worthwhile feature!!”

“So far we’ve only received two boxes marked 1 of 2, so we’re not even able to put it together. I’ve been told I will receive a phone call when they ship box 2 of 2. Very disappointed in Ashley’s way of dealing with the issue. It took several phone calls and e-mails to get some kind of response to the problem.”

“Once assembled, the desk seems great. Getting it assembled took probably 6 - 8 hours spread over 3 days. All the parts came (along with some spares) and they all numbered IAW the directions. However, compared to, say, Ikea products, there was a lot of work to do -- and I consider myself rather handy doing that type of work.”
