“I purchased the Banting Mid Century Bookcase in Walnut Brown on 5/11/25 and received it on 5/14/25. I also purchased the Banting Mid Century Desk with it. I put both together the evening of 5/14/25 after work. I was able to assemble them alone aside from flipping the desk over after assembly. The main thought I had when assembling the Banting Bookcase was that an Engineer must have designed the item. The minimal tolerances between pieces of wood and correct selection of hardware made for a stunning piece of real wood furniture once assembled. The one issue I ran into that could be a recommendation for others was during the assembly of the metal bottom: If the pieces don't align when connecting to the wood then loosen the bolts on the metal and retighten after everything is fitting correctly. I've been reviewing a ton of furniture items for a new home and looking for real wood office furniture - SimpliHome did not disappoint. Very pleased with the purchase of the Banting Bookcase and will purchase from SimpliHome again.”
