Don’t try attempt assembly yourself.

“I would not recommend assembly this bookshelf yourself. There are no pilot holes or markings for the frames or the backing -which makes for a flimsy bookshelf if you’re not accurate. Or worse, multiple holes from trying to find the right spot. The child label is on the wrong side of the backing and doesn’t easily remove without being in pieces and the glue residue showing.”

“I need to return it ! I called customer care to complain about the piece but no one has gotten back with me. There’s missing parts it has , a horrible smell and the lines don’t match up. The dowels are too short. I want my money back !”

“I ordered the bookcases and asked to exchange them and was told no exchanges only refunds once i paid to ship them back. This was when i learned that they came from a third party vendor and not Ashley furniture.
Postage for shipping heavy bookcases is a lot! Don’t recommend purchasing from this vendor at all. Poor customer service.”

“This is the cheapest particle board POS that I have ever had to put together. The wooden dowels that hold the shelf to the side are pushing straight through and tearing up the sides. While trying to put together the second side the long board is flexing and bending preventing it from lining up. Do not buy this unless it goes on sale for $20 because that is about all it is worth.”

“Beautiful piece. Rather easy to put together. Just be weary of back paneling placement. Too far to either side and your nail won't align and sink into the wood and miss out all together. The Bookcase itself is otherwise a lovely piece.”

“This bookcase is beautiful! Wasn’t too hard to put together but it did take about 2 1/2 hours. They had put a large sticker on the TOP of a shelf & it wasn’t easy to remove. Had to use Goo Gone to get it off. Other than that, I love it! The finish matches our other furniture really well:) I would definitely recommend this bookcase.”
