Customer service sucks!!

“The desk I purchased is defective; the drilled holes in the legs don’t line up with the drilled holes in the desk. I have contacted customer service several times, they asked for photos which I provided, where the screws are hitting the desk, not where the holes are. a week later received a request for a video of me trying to put the desk together so they could verify my technique. I called to speak to the representative and explained that I was unable to video myself because I don’t have anyone to help me record a video. And besides, I explained that I attempted to screw the same legs into the other side of the desk and had the same problem so the issue is that the one set of legs is defective. I need a new leg piece and will gladly send the defective leg back!!
I was subsequently told that if I didn’t video me trying to screw the leg together to the desk even though the holes don’t line up, so I can’t even show them that I am not getting the screws in, would have to send the desk back and incur a re-stocking fee.
I called back to customer service, hoping to speak to someone reasonable and got the same response. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told someone would call me right back. It’s been another week and have not received a call back!!
So here is where I get to vent and warn you all off that, if you want a hassle with your purchase, in the event that you receive a defective piece, you are out of luck with this company, shop somewhere else!! I don’t know what else to do..”

“After my months of shopping for a new home desk I decided on this desk in white. It was similar in style to others that were over $1000. I am so pleased I purchased it. It is beautiful, well made and I was able to assemble it myself. I am going to add brass drawer pulls and brass leg caps to look like the more expensive desks I found online. Best purchase I have made all year!!”

Defective, poor quality, terrible customer service

“Do not purchase this desk. 13 months after buying it, it randomly cracked on the top surface and also near where the legs attach to the top. The warranty is for 12 months, so we were told we are out of luck by both Home Depot and Simpli Home. Such poor quality for the high price. I would never buy from this brand again.”

Oddly tall desk. Doesn't match Harper cabinet.

“This desk is well made and was easy to assemble.
I am removing a star for two reasons.
1) This desk is super tall and looks like a giant should sit at it. I'm going to have to take at least an inch or two off the legs.
2) This desk does NOT match the wood or tone of the Harper cabinet, which is a big disappointment – I bought them as a set because they were from the same style model.”
