I had to get my drill and drill out some of the holes where the screws and hardware were going. They are heavy. Which is great. They won't bow or sag. They were made elsewhere. Not USA. But over all I like them.”

“The pictures don’t show the true color of this bookshelf. It’s got a bit more red in it than the pics, but this is not a bad thing. I think it looks better in real life. My biggest issue and this is why it got 3 stars, are the side frame pieces. Things are essentially doweled together and I don’t trust that. It would have been nice to see some sort of bracket at each of the 4 junctions where the upper and lower halves of the side frames meet. Assembly as a whole was pretty easy. I may get a second one of these before this living room makeover is done just to balance things out.”

“Buyer beware- I'm currently in conversation with the return team at Ashley. They will not let me return the bookshelf to the store because they said the bookshelf is from a third-party vendor. The color of the bookshelf after arrival did match the description from the website, and the bookshelf arrived visibly scuffed right out of the box. It's been over a week since I first reached out to the customer service number at Ashley, and they have not authorized my return of the bookshelf bought on their website. I currently have 3 active email threads with them about the bookshelf. I have been shocked and disappointed with my experience with Ashley. Knowing what I know now, I would not have purchased with them.”
