“I know other reviewers have said this was easy to assemble? It's not difficult per say, but you definitely need two people in order to ensure it all goes together and legs remain straight at right angles + you need someone to help get the large glass desktop on (really unsafe to try it yourself....unless you have really long arms!) I attempted but ended up recruiting help from a friend. But the desk is really beautiful (I got it in white) and all pieces were there and intact. Packed very well. Overall, I'm really happy with the purchase!”

“I bought this for my daughter to use as a desk and vanity in one. She loves it! This desk is a lot larger in person than what the picture seems. Make sure to measure your area first! Very heavy as well, so intend on having someone help carry the box and lift the glass top. My main issue was that one of the screw holes was stripped out so it's not grabbing the screw. I tried to find a number to call to order another piece and couldn't find one within the package. Now i'm going to have to call the store. Just annoying to have to play the run around game for one malfunctioning screw hole. Once I get that fixed it will be a great piece that she can grow with as an adult.”

However, one of the 5 was slightly out of line. One of the pre cast notches was off just a bit. Not enough to send back. They were also packed very well and the shipping of glass was not an issue at all. For the price these were a good choice.”

“I just purchased this desk and put it together 3 days ago. Luckily it can be put together 2 ways and my office is large and can be customized as 2 holes where the screws were supposed to hold in the bottom plate of the small section weren't drilled properly and the screws were too big. Flip everything around and I managed to get the screws in the other holes halfway. Thankfully the desk is tall enough that I won't gouge my thigh on them, but it is right in the intersection of the two pieces. Not great work Ashley. Glad I didn't get the file cabinet for the same price after reading those reviews!!”

“The desk is a little bigger than i thought it would be so i didnt get the full effect of the 'L' shape. I was only able to set up the larger piece. Its still beautiful and holds so much. I have my desktop, speakers, a house phone, a camera, a lamp and a scanner on the desk and still have room. I have OCD and i love that it doesnt accumulate dust or show any fingerprints so i dont have to constantly wipe it down. The set up and instructions were fairly simple, but the glass is extremely heavy so when it is delivered, at least two people are needed, maybe even three. It looks expensive and the quality is great.”

The glass top is heavy, so we assembled the metal frame and carried it to the exact location and then put the glass on. It is heavy, but can still be moved for final adjustment. It arrived well packed, with no scratches or chips.I put my computer at the corner where the 2 desks join, and it is easy to set there with the monitor at a good location, and no restriction on leg room. I have a file cabinet to the left and use that at a printer stand, which can be reached from the seated location.”
