“They are made very cheaply. Also I tried to return one of them still in the box and your policy only has a 72 hour return policy which is crap. It got delivered on a Monday and as a RN I worked for the next 3 days so I didn’t even get a chance to put it together and look at it. Do better next time. I will not be buying from Ashley again. The drawers were flimsy and we had to use wood glue to keep it from falling apart”

“I purchased 4 of them. The hardware is atractive. My only problem was with one chest that came damaged in three areas. It has already been put together so I don’t want to return it and start all over assembling it. One side panel had a dent on the bottom corner. The same side panel hade 2”x 2” multi scratch marks and the top corner facing the front had a glue stain. I will manage by placing that chest against the wall. My advice would be to check all parts before assembling.
All in all a nice set of chests for my closet.”

“Overall the dresser seems fine and study. It took my husband and I an hour to put together. There are some gaps in the drawers itself due to the mechanism that puts the drawers together (not screws). This shouldn't be a problem since I'm not putting anything in these drawers that's small enough to fall through. However, I'm very upset that the drawers only open halfway. This is obviously not optimal since you have to dig to get your clothes out of the back. The photo included in the preview shows the drawers being able to open completely, however the third drawer is accurate of how far the drawers actually open. I'm very upset that the photo was deceiving and may have to return the dresser if it doesn't work for me. If this wasn't the case, it would be a very good dresser for the price.”

“I’m very happy with this dresser. We bought it for our newborn baby’s nursery. I didn’t want to get anything super fancy since it will most likely get colored on/destroyed during the toddler years. It is well constructed for the price. If you notice 2 black smudges on the front of the dresser in my picture, they came from the stickers used to label the parts (for assembly purposes). I was able to get the residue off completely using Goo Gone. The drawers are roomy enough to hold standard fabric drawer organizers. I fit everything I wanted in the drawers for the baby, but might not hold as much for adult sized clothing.”

“The dresser is stylish, modern, and fairly solid, however it has some issues, namely:
-it arrived with a number of scratches, several marks I was unable to buff out, and places where the laminate was scuffed off
-each of the drawers is slightly misaligned, which is infuriating
-the drawers only pull out about 1/3 the depth the dresser
I suppose you get what you pay for.”

“Unit was heavier than expected. Difficult to move on carpet once constructed. The drawers used cleats instead of screws to hold together and one wouldn't sit flush with another so just had to accept as is. The screws to attach the drawers to cabinet were to short. It was a real hassle to get attached. Attaching ws a safety concern so drawers didn't fall out. It will be difficult to remove the drawers in the future.”

“It took forever to put together because of all the pieces! Drawers wouldn’t close properly,paint was missing in some places due to scratches. Whole dresser just looks cheap and I bought 2! Would not recommend these dressers at all.”

“Purchased two of these dressers to complement my walk in closet system which is the same finish. They match well. They were very easy to put together and are very sturdy. The main reason that I selected these units was the size. The depth was much deeper than any other unit that I could find available. UNFORTUNATELY my issue with this unit is the functionality of the drawers. Although they are deeper than most others they only open half way😡. This makes it difficult to retrieve or even see the clothing items that are in the back of the drawers and all but negates the benefit of the added depth. Had they opened up more they would have been perfect. I am certain I will either have to replace them later or see if they can be modified as this is truly annoying. I will still recommend them based on the sturdiness but would not have personally purchased them had I known about the drawers prior.”

“The Flannia Chest of Drawers is not usable. The drawers are deep (which is why I bought the chest) but they do not even open 1/3 of the depth of the drawer rendering them useless. I tried to return it, but was told I had to request my return within 3 days of receiving the product so they couldn't help me. Not a customer friendly business!!”

“I purchased the Flannia chest of 5 drawers. I received the item in a few days, but after unloading the entire box I discovered that side panel C was damaged pretty badly with a good sized crack, since the exterior of the box was fine, this tells me that who ever packed it, did not inspect it! Further during assembly, I was installing the drawers and cut my right hand fairly bad on the very sharp edges of the drawers. This was not noted as a warning anywhere in the instructions, frankly this would be a safety hazard to anyone handling the drawers, especially young children. I'm attaching a photo of the damaged piece, but will hold the photo of the damaged piece in case Ashley would like to contact me to discuss.”

“I received horrible service! I order this chest. Two of the drawers were broken. I contacted customer service and explained that the metal brackets were damaged so the drawer wouldn't slide in. They said they would replace them. What I received was 1 drawer with no equipment. No brackets no screws no handle. Super disappointed”

“Not the highest quality like any furniture available today. Drawers didn’t open fully like shown in the description. Returning the dresser would have been nearly impossible as the item is not offered in store and is only available online. Was told I would have to disassemble and put back in original box as it was originally packaged in order to return. Needed to modify drawer slides in order to make functional. Didn’t figure this out until the dresser was fully built.”
