“It was easy to put together. It was shorter than what I was hoping for but tags not why I have it 4 stars. The backing wasn’t long enough for the nails to go through the border so the bottom of our dresser backing has no nails holding it. And 2 of the drawers the screws for the part that allows the drawers to slide in and out don’t line up at all so they keep getting stuck or won’t close all the way”

This dresser however is easier to put together, more sturdier and built with an overall better design.

“I would recommend this dresser for a spare bedroom, but not one that gets used very much. It was easy to put together (but very heavy/difficult to carry the box of you live alone. I know it says two people to carry but you don't always have someone else). 4/12 of the drawer runners were broken, but customer service was responsive and will send new ones. Just annoying because it means disassembling the ones that are on it and waiting another x weeks. The other part that I don't like is that the drawers do not pull out all the way so it's hard to see what's at the back of them. Otherwise looks decent and seems like it should hold up to moderate use”

“Wish it could be a better review because I really like the look but, two of the pieces came damaged, I still put it together because the damage would not be visible, not difficult to put together. After putting it together the drawers do not open all the way, it only opens about 7 inches which it is less than half of the drawer size. Unless I did something wrong, which I have checked several times if I did, the drawers seem difficult in opening to take advantage of such a nice size drawers are.”

“I bought 2 of these (white one & black one)… they are both broken a year in to having them!
The first problem was once assembled (which was a total pain) we realized the drawers only open half way. Making it extremely difficult to put clothes away and take them out. Figured oh well we will just deal with it being that we already put the time in to assemble and pay for them. Then the drawer issues started happening… the support pieces that go on the bottom of the drawers started breaking and coming off causing the drawers to get stuck and not being able to open them without ripping them completely off. Then the actual side of the drawers where the screws connected the sides together started busting causing the wood to break off in pieces and crack! It is at the point where half the drawers are unusable due to having no support to hold the bottom piece in place! I didn’t expect them to last 10+ years but to only last a year is ridiculous! Total waste of money! We are burning ours and buying solid wood ones!”

“This is a nice dresser but the delivery service sucked. One of the dressers came out nice the other not so much. One of the dressers had a crack and a dent in the top part. I thought nothing of the crack til I turned it around. I’m not sure if I should return it since getting the item was a hassle. But overall the dresser wasn’t too hard to put together. I put the first one together within 40ish minutes. The delivery process for day of was not the best. I think the need to send the items through their own company and not rely on fedex”

“I am very pleased with how this looks. It's good quality and assembly was straight forward. However, I personally messed up bad during the assembly with the drawers thinking the manufacturer didn't drill enough holes and I took matters into my own hands therefore ruining a piece. To my surprise, Ashley has an amazing system that makes it easy to replace parts. Overall, I will always be purchasing from Ashley.”

I asked for a supervisor and was contacted bia email by Nery Binondo from their “customer experience” team. They offered me 15% and I asked what my other options were and now they won’t respond. I’m calling their corporate office next.”
